Love this shoe

Owned for 2 months now. As an HVAC tach I typically walk 8000-12000 steps a day. And I have been in the habit of slipping shoes on and off for years, these shoes easily allow me to do. If you like shoes to be tight fitting these may not be for you. Or they could if you replace the bungee lace with normal shoe laces. I like the bungee lace for easy on/off slippage though.I gave it a 3 star for water resistance and I want to explain. About lower half of shoe is solid water resistant if not water proof! The upper half is not at all whatsoever. It is very breathable.I walk in wet grass all the time and my socks are always nice and dry. But if I get the top breathable portion wet at all it may easily get my sock a little wet.I just hope these last. If I can get more than a year out of them I will def repurchase. Very very comfy. Also fwiw I always double up on insoles cuz my feet are a little flat and I need double support. They are very comfy for long periods.

Best shoes for long hours on concrete

I work in a manufacturing environment and have for almost 21 years and have tried many brands and styles of steel toe shoes. These Keens are the lightest and most comfortable by far and it's not even close. Also my work is hot in the summer and warm in the winter so there are the coolest of any show I've ever tried. Literally feels like I'm wearing my Sketchers slip one. Already had to look down to make sure I changed my shoes and once or twice the answered was no.

Perfect for Warehouse work.

My husband works in a warehouse five days a week and these seemed ideal. They certainly look great and they are made in the USA. These sneakers look 'cool' but still meet the safety standards required by his company. They have a rubber sole and steel toes. The left and right are asymmetrical, The steel toes are wider offering better comfort and an unobtrusive fit that meets or possibly will exceed ASTM F2412 and F2413 EH (Electrical Hazard) compression. Always check with your employer on their requirements. These are marketed as oil and slip resistant. They are non marking and have rubber out-soles to help with traction. They have a removable sole and brag that the material helps to reduce foot odor. If you ever had a partner work 12 hour days in a hot shop then you know all about foul foot odor!!! There is some reflective material near the the heel that should help for better visibility. I find that these are a full five stars. They look stylish but offer tons of protections. Take care of your feet. If you can't walk comfortably its going to be a long day before you even start!!!

Expensive For Low Quality Shoe

I'm amazed at how expensive these shoes are when there are so many other better options out there for way less. I ended up going for a $30 steel toe sneaker and I'm glad I did. These shoes are made of very rigid material all around, so they are very uncomfortable to wear and it digs into your heels and ankles. They are also incredibly heavy. Other steel toe shoes are much lighter. After wearing them for just a minute I decided to send them back. Definitely not worth it. I can't even imagine how they'd feel after a days work.

Qualty Work Shoe!

This KEEN Utility steel toe work shoe is just what I needed to start the 2020 summer work season!Yabadaba Shoe! …. those were the first words that popped out of my mouth when I tried these on, as they fit perfect! Love it when that happens :)Yes, I really do need these, as the big toe on my right foot has been injured repeatedly over the years.... so it is "impact sensitive" now.... meaning it wouldn't take much to re-injure it.So yeah, a steel toe is just what I need to get me through another season of tree cutting/land clearing work.... it is hard dangerous work... but I love it :)So -These KEEN shoes.....are really well made! and they look great.... holy cow, KEEN has hit a out of the park home run with these awesome work shoes!And.... they wear very well, as in very comfortable :)IMO these shoes are worth every penny of their price point, the overall build quality is great .... & as far as I can tell they are just about perfect in every way...even the tread is impressive - aggressive & beefy, perfect for outdoors.....while the rubber provides a good no slip grip on the smooth surfaces, as well as protecting you from shock hazards.IMO, these KEEN steel toe work shoes are highly recommendable, and well deserving of a five star product rating *****Speaking of work, I gotta get to it! :)

A bit boxy, but extremely comfortable

Size:11 DFit:I wear an 11.5 in most shoes, but occasionally wear an 11 in boots. These work shoes fit more like boots, so the 11 works very well for me. I feel these fit a bit boxy, but it's more in a sense of being roomy than running large.Quality of construction and materials are very good.Lacing and retention is quick and secure.Traction is above average, but could be a little better.Where these work shoes shine is comfort. I work remotely, but occasionally have to do walk-arounds for 12+ hours.I wore these last week during a walk-around and after 13.5 hours, my feet were in good shape. Usually, I'd have swollen feet and ankles. In sum, I have no reservations recommending these.4 starsCheers!
