Comfortable boots, great for working in my yard. I am happy I made the purchase.
I think I’m an inch taller in these (can’t complain about that). These are definitely waterproof, especially with some mink oil or leather conditioner on them (I use obernaufs). If I get them muddy I literally just point a water hose at my foot for a sec and then wipe them off with a rag and my sock never gets wet. The only downside of them being so non-porous is that in Houston summers your feet get pretty toasty in them. And they’re a bit heavy but I don’t mind cause it makes them feel quality. Have had them for a year now and wear and tear is very minimal even wearing them to work outside 5 days a week. Pretty comfortable too
I'm always too hard on sneakers, but light enough that boots last me for years and years. I've been through Justins, Ariats, HH's, and decided to try Keens. Working in a factory - everyone recommends Keens (however I bought the soft-toe for my office job). I'm going on 1.5 years in these. Super comfortable, almost no break-in period. Fits my (very) flat feet like a glove, and probably the most comfortable boots I've ever wore. But DANG they're HEAVY!! I thought the others in the comments were just being babies.... no... they're legit that heavy. There are some days I don't even want to put them on just knowing I'll be slinging them around for hours. Leather had formed and stretches great... almost too great..(?).. I have to pull the laces so tight it they touch and you can't see the tongue, and seems like I'm always retying to support my ankle. Sounds like a lot of complaining, but really I've grown quite fond of them!! I believe Keen now has a 'mid-tier' boot that is a little more like a sneaker that may be lighter and better for me - so I'll probably try those next. Wouldn't hesitate to refer these to my friends!
I've had these boots for about a week. I am impressed with the fit and quality so far. I was skeptical about the wider toe box, as it looks different from my other boots. But it sure does make them comfortable, without the normal toe squishing of other boots.
Real boots for real men. Of course little stiff but are breaking in perfectly. Lots of toe room snug rest of the foot. Has enough cushion, walking over round terrain is a pleasure .one reco to Keen would be a liner. Possibly a water proof one.. foot would slide in easier. Great design great leather
I have had the boots for exactly 1 month. They fit well and are comfortable but today the speed eyelet pulled out of the leather. There is not a through hole to just lace them. I am 2 days past my return window. I have been a loyal Keen consumer for years. I’m Disappointed in the quality of these.
Best boot ive ever owned. On my 5th pair. Soles wear out before the boot.
