I have worn Keen for a really long time and wanted to go with something a little taller this time. These boots are comfortable and are working great.
Held up amazing to 4-6 10+hr shifts/wk working as a mechanic on big-rigs for about five months now. Still no holes or stitches coming apart, which is incredible. All shoes that he wore at this job before lasted about this long and had to be replaced because the steel toe was totally exposed and the stitching was separating the sole from the boot. These are holding up incredibly well. Heavy, but sturdy and not too heavy compared to other work boots with steel toes. Very very comfortable, he recommends it to all of his coworkers whenever they complain of foot pain. He puts them on easier and quicker than most boots I’ve seen him wear, and they’re nice and waterproof. This doesn’t stop oil stains, of course, but still. Couldn’t be happier that I bought these for my husband since they are now his favorite boots and favorite boot brand!!
These boots in a wide fit like normal D size. If you have wide feet and wear a EE or EEE, these boots aren't for you.
Great quality. Working on the railroad walking and digging in the ballast these boots are up to the task for durability and comfort. Will definitely be getting another pair. Most boots only last 5-8 months and that's a stretch. These are at the 7 month mark and still comfy stable and the soles still have traction.
Heavy/ not durable. Started ripping in front of first day.
Very comfortable
Got 5 months of use out of them before the sole of one started coming off. I usually get a good year in before my boots start falling apart. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because it's been a good 5 months, very comfortable, nice feel to them. But 5 months is still only 5 months.
