Best boots ever

These are my second pair. The first pair I still have but after 2 years of solid everyday use, the sole started to separate. I am going to have them fixed but in the mean time I got a second set. They keep my feet protected and water proof and I can go thru metal detectors without having to remove my shoes. They are worth every penny. How I found these shoes was I just started a new job and the boots I got from Walmart hurt my feet so bad I almost couldn't walk. So I stopped at a barebones workware and said" what do you have in size 14" cause when you are a size 14 you learn that is the better question to ask. They had these and 2 other styles/brands when I put these on my feet they stopped hurting right then. Well I guess that sums it up and they were 250 bucks the most I have ever paid for shoes and worth every penny.

Very comfortable boot.

Working in a sugar refinery I trash work boots. Several months in these are holding up very well. Rubbed in a couple spots for a day or two but broke in well. The treated leather is holding up well to the high and low Ph I encounter at work every day. They won’t last forever in this environment but so far are holding up better than two different pairs of redwings boots I went through last season. They are pretty heavy and have a ton of padding so they are going to be on the rack for the summer months. The insoles are very comfy and I didn’t have to swap them out for dr. Sholls like I normally do. I also love that around the ankle there are hooks for the laces instead of eyelets so when you put the boots back on you can just step right into them instead of using your hands to put them on. I have a very wide foot especially around the toes, the wide size fit perfect. The fit is pretty much the same as the wide size of a redwings king toe. Can confirm water proof up to about the ankle.

Tuff Boots!

These boots are comfortable I wear them 10 to 12 hours a day. They have lasted all season and I work for a paving company. These boots will take the abuse. I’ll be able to start next season with these boots. I usually have to replace boots mid season. Keen makes the best hiker or work boot. Highly recommended

Bought in January 2023

I bought these in January of 2023 used them mostly for inside construction, but after 2 weeks of outside work the toe cover is peeling and the treads are shredded on both shoes. Definitely not worth the money for almost exactly 3 months of use. Would give zero stars but Amazon won’t let me.

Bomb proof boots built to be abused

Pros: Industrial grade boots, excellent stitching, toe box still same internal size vs. non-composite toe models, tread pattern fights mud caking onto bottoms, comfortable internal side padding, top of boots opens wide when untied, heel of sole has good cushion yet length of sole is very rigid.Cons: heavy when compared to boots with normal shoe type construction, but weight is inline with other boots that use a stitched welt type sole construction
