Comfortable out of the box
Super comfortable. Probably the most comfortable boot right out of the box I have ever bought. I usually get Redwings but wanted something insulated so tried these. No regrets. Only thing I don’t like is the lace holders up top. Tight to get the lace in cuz it pinches it to hold it tight. I gotta believe it will wear the laces out sooner than necessary. But small price to pay for such a comfortable boot.
First off for this review, I replaced the flimsy insole padding with Spenco Total Support insoles that actually has an arch support before wearing. These boots are really sturdy and my feet feel well protected. The 400g of insulation made working outside in the teens & 20’s no issue. There is enough room in the toe box but feels narrow in the mid foot. I wish I could have tried a 2E to compare. My main gripe is how difficult they are to lace up. The upper three rows of hook lacing requires some dedication to get the laces to catch. Once you get the laces wedged in, you cannot pull the laces snug without yanking them out.
Absolutely horrible at first. Left feet extremely sore until finally broken in. They still feel like they are a size smaller than listed. I absolutely suggest looking into a different boot. There is a reason that they are always on sale. I will never buy Keens again.
These fit well and my husband seems to be happy with the support he gets from them.
Comfortable and true to size. Would definitely buy again!
I've been wearing keen work boots for over ten years and this is the first pair I've had to return. The inside, right by the ankle, is sharp and wore me down raw. I tried double socks and ace bandage. Nothing works. Can't break them in. I know I'm not the first person to mention this. It sucks because I have been a strong keen supporter for years. Now I have to get the $200 pair that I previously owned because I know it's good
