Absolutely awesome and well worth the price! Canvas is stiff and durable which I really appreciate. I haven’t tested waterproofing but I live in the desert so….They are super duper comfortable… like I don’t know they are on and I could forget they are on. Lightweight and flexible but the quality is great and as always really what I expect from the keen brand.

I work lansdcaping and lawn maintenance so I wanted something lighter and more breathable than my leather work boots. I saw these and liked they had the option to fold down the tops, once again appealing to a more breathable work boot/shoe. After the usual break-in period I started to really enjoy the boots. They have a good aggressive tread and they felt great on the foot.At the beginning of week 3 one of the snaps broke off. Which isn't the end of the world but definitely had me skeptical of their longevity. I'm used to boots lasting me 1yr minimum at this price range.I'm now 2 months in and they are still what I wanted, but already I can see the sole starting to pull away from the canvas upper and heel creating a gap. Once again longevity is a rising concern.I get the feeling I could probably get them to hit the year mark, if I drag them across...I dont think it's a failing of material quality as much as quality-control in assembly. I don't know if I'll buy another pair. 50/50 at this point.
Wore these for weeks while climbing 2 and 2 & 1/2 story ladders to repair and paint my house's siding. The 90° heel helped secure my feet on the ladders while the midfoot support worked as advertised. Between the shank and sole's design and the typical large toe box space afforded by Keen's shoes I was able to place insoles in the boots that afforded even my gnarled, hammertoed, feet enough comfort to be on them for several hours a day for days and days. And either due to the fabric or the two vent holes, my feet didn't get soaked in sweat despite the physical exertion I was putting them through. I highly recommend these boots as work boots. And, if they don't get trashed, the ability to fold their tops down provides the option for an unusual fashion statement too.

I really like the boots: typical wide Keen fit, nice and light, comfortable... The issue is the fold down collar. The first time I went to unsnap it and lace the boot up all the way one of the snaps broke off. I debated keeping them but decided to return.
I spend a lot of time on my feet. I tried these when doing package delivery and continue to wear them while running my lawncare business. These are light, comfortable and the high ankle on them have saved me from countless sprains. They are not waterproof but they don’t aim to be.
