Men's Vista Energy Xt: After wearing these shoes all day for three consecutive days, I can say that they are comfortable. As recommended I ordered 1/2 shoe size larger. Good decision. Very generous toe area, while still firmly gripping my ankles. My feet do not slide in the shoe. Very important! They seem to be well made.
This is my third pair of Keen Vista Energy's, although this is my first time buying the XT's. I wanted to write this review to encourage anyone who has issues with foot fatigue & discomfort to try these out. I recommend going up a half size & get wide. These shoes are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, regardless of safety toe or not. Whatever is in these Keen ReGEN soles works because there was a noticeable difference going from my 18 month old severely worn Vista Energy's to the XT. The soles & shoe insert are fantastic, insert lasts the entire lifetime of the shoe, has very good support, & is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to these. The XT is an upgrade over the regular Vista Energy, the material on the exterior is clearly much more durable & water resistant, which is probably the most noticeable difference along with the nylon shank. Overall fantastic shoes particularly for working on concrete, or if you walk alot, & if you generally have problems finding a comfortable shoe. Go half size up, wide, you won't regret it.
These were great until they started shrinking i guess? They seemed to have gotten small on my feet in a matter of a couple months. the shoe is still in perfect condition, durability and performance are not an issue at all, just felt like they got smaller.
Comfortable and light !
These shoes are used as field shoes for umpiring. They are not as protective as a plate shoe when umpiring home plate, which is not a bad thing. The steel toes are great and definitely provide good protection.The shoe does fit as expected, and the comfort level is high.Overall, these are a nice additional to the umpire gear. They would work well if needed for protection in other industry. I would not recommend them as a replacement for a work boot since there is zero protection for ankles. That's not to say they are bad, it's just not the proper function for these shoes.Overall, I do like these quite a bit.
Not wide like my order keens I purchase
I'm a big fan of Keen Shoes. This one is not different. Its extremely comfortable and priced right. I do think it was a returned item by the looks of the packaging, but the shoes weren't tried on. Its all good. Love these shoes.
