Very comfortable from day one.
I've been wearing Keen work shoes for over 15 years and they never ever disappoint. I've had boots that should've shown some wear by now but they just don't. I needed some light weight composite toes for my new job so I did the try before you buy and chose 3 different keen shoes. These black ones aren't what I'd usually go for and let's face it, they aren't great to look at but I'm so glad I chose them. I'm on my feet all day and they just keep me goin. The grip is unstoppable.. it's awesome. Very comfortable and will be staying in Keens for years to come. Spend the money, they're worth every penny.

Probably wouldn’t buy again
I purchased these shoes earlier this year and have worn them through one construction season and they have held up well.My issue is that I haven’t been able to get them to break in very easily and they have never been what I would consider as being a comfortable shoe. It could just be my own feet that are the problem but I’ve had other brands that worked better.

Best comfortable work shoes.
I have been a Keens customer for years, previously used the Atlanta Cool but this one are better. More light and comfortable .

Not very comfortable
Had to put arch support inserts in them to make them tolerable. They are still very uncomfortable to wear, even when first put on.

Comfortable work shoes offering great protection
When I’m doing various jobs around the house, I usually wear a pair of old trainers – I don’t want to mess up my nice shoes! While this seems to make good sense, old trainers offer very poor protection to my feet especially when I’m carrying stuff like bricks or concrete blocks around. I’ve looked at professional work boots but although they look like they would offer great protection to my feet (especially those with a steel toe-cap), they looked rather big and heavy. I needed something lighter. These work sneakers from Keen looked like they were just the sort of shoe I was looking for. These work-shoes are surprisingly heavy but most of the weight is in the thick soles. The upper part of the shoe is quite lightweight. There is toe protection in the form of a carbon fiber cap. While this may not be as strong as a steel cap, it certainly doesn’t compress onto my toes when I stand on it. I think it would easily withstand the impact of a brick falling onto it. There is also some protection at the heel of the shoe. The soles are interesting. They are thick and heavy as already mentioned. They are flat with no heels, so the risk of a trip is reduced. I don’t know what the sole material is, but it does grip well on a wet-tiled floor (there’s a lot of squeaking). I sometimes work with electronics so the ESD protection is very welcome for that. There’s some water protection but I don’t think these shoes would be suited to wet outdoor workProbably the most important thing about these shoes is that, not only do they offer a high level of protection, they are very comfortable to wear. I have wide feet, and I was pleased to see that these shoes are being offered in regular and wide sizes. The 11W shoes I ordered fit my feet perfectly. They also don’t feel like I’m wearing heavy boots and I’ve been able to wear them all day without any discomfort. Keen is an established brand, and these shoes are offered at a fairly premium price. However, they seem to be very well made and offer great protection, so I think that they’re worth the cost.
