Great work shoes!
These shoes feel great! They hit that sweet spot of "just enough" protection too. That being said, my feet are kind of weird - I have 10.5 wide feet and high arches. The asymmetrical steel toes feel good and these shoes provide adequate arch support. They are wide enough to be comfortable, but snug enough to stay put. The tie is a bit strange - I tuck it into the bottom cross and pull it out when I throw them on. This keeps the tag from bouncing on my foot as I walk and keeps the string tight, but this style of shoe-string may not be for everyone. The mesh top keeps it breathable. The mesh also keeps the boots from smelling like well, old sweaty work boots. Downside, water and dirt can get in pretty easy (obviously). I don't mind, but depending on what you use these boots for, they may not be for you. I work in a trade, and these shoes have held up to the abuse for a few months now without any noticeable damage or loss of comfort / function. Lastly, the steel toe is heavier than a composite toe. Not a huge deal, but after 8-12hrs work shift, you may regret those extra couple lbs.+ Pros - Comfortable, Durable, Breathable, Reasonably Priced- Cons - Pretty open top, Shoe String not for everyone, Somewhat HeavyI recommend you go to your local shoe store and try a few pairs out. this particular style was exactly what I wanted - Comfortable, breathable work shoe/boots that offers the right level of protection. If they feel good, order from Amazon and save $40-80. My local store was selling these shoes for $50 more than Amazon.

Almost perfect sneaker work boot
Almost perfect sneaker work boot.At first they felt stiff around the upper ankle material, by the end of the day, it was gone and never felt it since.In far too many sneakers and other shoes in the past, the material on the inner side around the back ankle would wear out very fast.Almost every sneaker ever owned suffered from holes within months in this location.One of the main reasons I chose this shoe was that it did not look like a cheap easily worn material in this area.It has been 2 months with constant use and it has not shown signs of wear that would be expected of many other shoes.Overall, it is very comfortable for a working sneaker boot. Not at the level of a sports sneaker, but better than a typical working boot.It also does stay cooler.The front toe material is very strong and I expect it will outlast the entire shoe.The bottom tread is also very durable. The minor downside is that it has a very slight slip to it on smooth surfaces.It still holds well to smooth concrete in most cases though.The springy plastic piece holding the laces at the top of the shoe are too weak to prevent at little loosening of the laces after walking a bit.At least this is an easy fix if needed. So far it hasn't bothered me enough to do anything about it.

Great shoe, just not for extra wide feet.
These seem like a very good quality work shoe, they were just too narrow for me even though I ordered the widest shoe they offered (2E). What I really liked about these was the protection over the tip of the steel toe. I had the New Balance steel toe shoes before (4E though) and the tip wore through very quickly on those, but it seemed the rubber covered tips on these Keen's would last as long as the rest of the shoe. I gave them a good week trying to break them in, but they never eased up in the width, so I just returned them. The right shoe seemed worse than the left. The back of the shoe irritated the back of my foot, and the front just squeezed my toes. By the end of the day my feet may have been numb to the pain, because they didn't hurt as bad, but the next morning I would put them on and the pain started all over again. I considered just ordering the next larger size, but the length seemed fine so I didn't want to go any longer. Great shoe if you don't need extra wide shoes, but buyer beware if you do need a wider than normal shoe.

The best Men's sandal. Period.
I ordered these for my husband who has a hard time finding shoes that fit right.Most men's sandals are narrow or too wide resulting in too tight or sloppy fit and blisters are now a thing of the past.Besides the fit the way these are designed are perfect for the type of adventures we take. His previous pair (same H2 Newport) had stepped on cactus, climbed tall buttes in several states and walked on moss covered slippery river rocks all with excellent traction, comfort and protection we have come to rely on in our shoes.Where we live at, we are hard on our gear all year round. We rely on it. These are well worth the quality for the price as we got 6 years worth out of his first pair before I can no longer stand to look at them. They still function and have no tears but because of how many times I have cleaned them and the amount of abuse we just had to go for a new pair. Overall a solid choice
Overall these shoes are really comfortable, they didn't feel like they needed much break in from what reviews were saying, these shoes are on the slightly looser side but still fit tight enough to stay on your feet. They breathe really well which is important since i work in a package sorting facility and am constantly moving up and down steel catwalks, ladders and stairs. My only real complaint is the shoe lace takes some getting used to and loosens up every so often also slip resistance isn't the greatest on polished concrete

I bought these shoes based on reviews, and I'm glad I did. They are great. They fit very well, and they don't make my feet hurt. I was worried that it would take some time to get used to, and that I may have foot pain for a while standing in them in 10 hours with little to no sitting. No more worries there. When you put them on they may not initially feel super comfortable, but they are very much so. I experienced no pain during the break in process.I am very pleased with these shoes and I would recommend them.
