Very nice very comfortable out the box.Been rugged as well.
Don’t expect them to stay white along the soles for very long unless your environment is pretty clean, but otherwise these boots have been great.I drive 50k miles a year and stand more than I walk or sit while I’m on the job. They offer pretty good arch support and lots of space for wide feet. I dropped a star because they aren’t as slip resistant as they should be.I get a new pair of boots for work every year and have always gotten Keens. This might be the first year I repeat on a pair.
After trying as many boots as I could find and considering custom boots I found these.Pros: These boots are actually shaped like they are supposed to accommodate feet. The toe box is wide. So far I have worn them a couple months and they are holding up good, will update review if things change. My Danner vicious boots only lasted 6 months and these look barely used so far. Waterproof enough for me to wash equipment and work in the snow.Cons: a little cold below 15 degrees fahrenheit .Toe material is not tough and if you hit toes or drag feet climbing around machines you need extra material like tough toe. Breaking in was harder than other boots I have worn.I wear a 12.5 extra wide. I usually wear a 13EE in other boots.
Use these for work in a warehouse. The material on the toe scrapes off easily, but overall the boots are comfy and durable. They’re truly non slip. I like them a lot
Got these for my husband, who's a wind tech and he loves them. The short heel works great on to the ladder, the composite toe works better in the winter than steel toe, and they are very comfortable for a whole day of climbing and walking around. The outside, however, gets scratched up pretty easily, so they look raggedy after a few mos. The soles inside stopped being comfortable after about 7-8 mos, but you can stretch it to almost a year if you wear the thicker boot socks. Overall great, just wish they would last longer.
The fold behind the composite toe just wore a hole through the top of my foot on a matter of days
The boots are great, but they stink. Durable, good looking, comfortable. I own three pair of keen boots now, all purchased since october of 2024, and they all stink in exactly the same way. I own over a dozen pair of work boots besides these and none of them smell like w ything but leather. As far as i can find out, there is really nothing that can be done about it. Apparently Keen insists on some “organic/environmentally friendly” anti-microbial treatment to save the planet, but whatever it is makes the boots really smelly. I reached out to Keen for help but that went nowhere. So ya, the boots are great as long as you don't mind the stink.
