Hubby liked his so much he bought a pair for a friend !! they are comfy and last well as well as practical !! great quality and goes with so many outfits
I wore these around the house for a couple of days just to make sure they were comfortable. They seemed fine. First day of wearing to work they wore a hole in my leg. There was a bur of thread that was very sharp that literally drew blood. I got my file out and rubbed smooth but the damage was done.Update: 2-28-25 These boots still haven’t broken in. Can’t wear them more than a few hours. My feet get very sore. I’m about to give up on them.
Great look and fit im ordering my third pair and will continue wearing this boo.
Boots are good quality and comfortable, perfect if you have wide feet or a bunion, the toe box is larger than most boots and might have a bit of a clown shoe shape. But over all there well built and durable and an aggressive tread. The only down side to this boot is that’s it’s very heavy, so much that it gets you tired from having to lift each foot and causes fatigue. The insole provides the confort you need but the weight of the boots does not help. Over all I’ll recommend it due to them being wide foot friendly but will have to give it a negative score due to the weight.
My husband is a welder and ordered these to prevent hot metal falling in his shoes. He is very pleased with the comfort and quality.
The boot was the correct size. The problem with these is that the ankle area is so narrow I couldn't put my foot in at all, compared size to my boots that I wear now, and they were perfect match, size was correct.
Got the boots Friday. Today is Monday. I have worn them all weekend and today. Yard work, helped a friend move, more yard work. So far, they haven't broken in. They are different to get my feet into, the bridge over my foot is VERY tight, but not too tight to make my feet uncomfortable. The biggest issue so far is where the leather is sewn together on the outside of my foot, just at the ankle bone, is very painful. Only the left foot, it digs into the bone, and I am wearing my thickest carhartt wool socks now that winter has arrived in Alaska.Thankfully Amazon gives 2 months to return on these boots. If they don't wear in by week 3, then I will rerate with a 1 star. Hopefully I can change this to 5 once they break in.Update: 11/24: I overhauled 2 3508 engines on a boat wearing these boots. It took some time to break them in. They are still tight on the bridge, which is still good. They don't move around at all. The painful part on my left ankle worn in, so the pain is gone. I do not recommend this boot for winter wear, but it is a well built boot. The sole is soft enough to keep the impact out of my back, but solid enough where it didn't wear down from dragging around the non slip sand paper like surface on the boat. Will update again in January.
