Great boots really comfortable, didn’t break them in at all , use them for work when I know it’s gonna rain and feet stay dry.
I have tried work boots that are protective and supportive but a bit heavy, and hikers that are light and comfortable but a bit soft in the toe.For the price range these are about right.Ankle support: not too high, not too low. Just right.Arch support: unmatched. I am tired of having to choose between flat support or insoles designed by some weirdos to torture my foot for my own good. The stock insoles for Keen are legendary.Toe box: good. Nice light kinda sorta protection from stuff falling on my foot.Non-slip: YesMaterials and construction: very sturdy, but not leather. That used to be a deal breaker for me, but I like to stay in this $100ish price range for work shoes. You want a lotta cow these days, get 200 bucks together I guess.Durability: they’re Keens.Size: I am between 10 and 10 1/2 and I usually go at least 10.5 for boots. This time I went with Amazon’s size recommendation and got a 10. They fit. But to be safe stay true to size maybe.Break in: yeah these won’t feel like slippers out of the box. No work shoes do.
Wore several versions for past years. They just get cheaper and cheaper. Backs break down almost immediately from pushing your foot in too fast and who doesn't do that all the time. Lousy card BB is ard material around the heel. Too much padding in the tounge. Lasts a year at the most maybe. Keen is not made in Australia any more. Ok sole and round toe box but hAlf decent support but feel ricks when walking on gravel. Sad Keen got sooo cheap.
I admit I hated these at first , the rubber thing the runs over the top dug into my toes when I walked . I thought about sending them back but instead while I watched tv I flexed and bent the boot as much as I could to loosen them up and I’m glad I did . The point where they would flex became softer and they are my favorite boot now
Not the best. Pretty stiff. Fit was true to size
These boots are the most comfortable and durable I’ve ever worn, I deliver to the food service industry and have held up the longest, they seem to really be resistant to the greasy floors that I encounter throughout my route, plus using a hand truck would tear up other brands but these will always be my go to work boot.
I purchased these 4 months ago rubber on side pulled away from boot now step in any water my feet get wet. Emailed Keen with pictures and receipt told them what happened no response sad because I really like there boots but this style fell apart. 3 week update after taking 3 weeks to go through the review process of my return Keen not only stood behind their bad boot they gave me $180 credit when I paid $125 for the old pair of boots thank you Keen.
