* Edited Review - KEEN warranty was outstanding.
I’m updating this review to reflect my experience with Kern warranty. Absolutely painless and outstanding. They did right by me.While I initially found these boots to be exceptionally comfortable, fitting well, and effectively waterproof, they have ultimately disappointed me. I rely on them for work, but they have failed—specifically, the strap around the heel, tensioned by the laces, has broken at one end. I have submitted a warranty claim and expect this to be resolved promptly. These boots have potential to be excellent, but I cannot endorse them to other tradesmen when they fail after only a month of use.

They’re assembled in America.🇺🇸
These are comfortable straight from the box. They are quality boots that expect to get years from. Keep feet warm and ties safe without frigid steel. Sizing runs true. They don’t weigh much when wearing it’s negligible.

Major break-in required
These boots require a good 30-36 hours of wear and tear before they break in. I am on my third 12 hour shift, and they are finally breaking in to the point they dont actively hurt anymore. To be clear, the lowers and most of the boot are perfectly fine, and completely comfortable. Unlike some other boots I've broken in that felt like ski boots the first few days, these didnt have that issue. That said, the very top of the uppers, where Keen used a foam and fabric mix, is VERY stiff, and especially at the very back, there is a section of extra dense foam (black V in rear- see pictures). This foam section, being so stiff and/or dense, painfully digs into your leg while moving your ankle until the boots and the foam start to break in to match your movements.Other than that one "issue", these boots are solid so far. Construction is much better than the hiking version of the targhe 4, which I've returned multiple pairs of before settling on the sneaker version. I've treated this pair with cobbler's suede waterproofing (blue spray bottle), so they are slightly darker than before treatment, but imo, look great.

Comfortable, durable, and quality made
These boots run true to size. Some boot manufacturers purposely size boots with a safety toe a half size bigger but that is not the case with these. If you wear a size 11, then buy a size 11. They are extremely well-made. Most definitely worth the price, and I wish I had bought them sooner. I’m in the water treatment industry so I’m frequently standing in puddles of water. This is my third pair of keens and so far all of them have been waterproof for the entire time and use. I’m kind of a boot snob, but these boots exceed all my expectations. I highly recommend these.

Nice American made work boot
Very high quality work boot, but unfortunately not wide enough in the toe box. Keen should consider making an x-wide version of this boot.

Runs a little small
Boots are nice, but I wear a size 14 wide and these must be on the very low end of the tolerance. They are just small enough my toes hit the end. Funny enough, that doesn't happen with a different pair/model of my Keen work boots of the same size.
