Comfortable!

At work, I recently transferred from to a position in an office cubicle to one in a factory/warehouse environment. This means I have to wear safety shoes (and jeans!) every day. I scrambled to find some locally, and end the end, as usual, turned to Amazon. I originally ordered a different pair from a different brand (Skechers), and they are OK, not great. As I started work, I noticed quite a few people wearing Keen safety shoes. While I clomped around in my heavy shoes, these people were breezing around. So I bought this pair. Comfortable right out of the box! Yes, the toe area is a little clunky looking, but they are safety shoes and that is expected. They look like hiking shoes! So cute. I don't even blink if I have to stop after work and run errands, they look that great. The fit is fabulous. I can wear my normal socks and still have plenty of room in the toe area. The heel area fits well and doesn't slide around (my main issue with the Skechers). And since they aren't 100% leather, my feet don't get too hot during the day! And they work...on the first day, I ran over my right foot twice with a pallet jack and these shoes did their job. (From office to warehouse, I had only ever used a pallet jack once before....NOW I know how the wheels work! LOL!) The metatomical insole seems to be working. Normally I use an Orthaheel insole in my sneakers and my other safety shoes, but the Keen insole seems to not cause any issues. My arches are supported and after a day of walking on concrete factory floors, my feet aren't killing me. I gushed and raved so much, that my husband has now ordered a pair! He also works at the same facility. All in all, Keen has new fans....and I've already started looking at their sandals and other shoes!

The Perfect Women's Work Shoe

I purchased these work shoes after researching "women's work shoes that work well on concrete floors." I work part time in an animal shelter and am on my feet all day(9 hours) on concrete floors as well as working in muddy conditions. The many positive reviews were especially helpful and accurate. I have a high arched, rigid foot, medium width and was concerned at first that the wide toe box would mean the overall fit would be too wide, but that is not the design of the shoe. The midfoot and heel taper nicely, so your foot is snug and supported, but not sliding around. My feet were much less fatigued after a full day's work. Prior to this, I was wearing old running shoes that turned out to be too soft and cushy for standing hours on end. I love the support of this shoe! I had no blisters, no break in period and wore them straight out of the box. They run true to size. I typically wear between a 9.5 or 10 (US) size. The 40.5 Euro fits perfectly. Regarding weight, they do feel a bit heavy, but I quickly got used to that, and the non steel toe version was only slightly lighter. Their weight is not an issue for me and is more than compensated for by their comfort and protection.

Love "em

I work at Fedex as a driver. I was in need of shoes to wear between my running shoes in summer and snow boots in winter. I decided to give steel toes a try (again, I have never found a pair comfortable enough to wear) because Fedex will reimburse for those. After much deliberation, based mostly on reviews.. I ordered the Keen Flint low work boot. Got them the next day, opened them...saw the color (MUCH lighter than I had anticipated), felt how heavy they were and almost returned them on the spot. But, I remembered the rave reviews and decided to try them on anyway. Ok....THIS is why they got such good reviews. They are ridiculously comfortable, seriously. Plenty of room in the toe box, I don't feel the steel toe at all. I have never encountered that in a steel toe boot or shoe. I could always tell I was wearing them and they alway rubbed at some part of my toe, enough to make it impossible to wear.I fell in love with them then and there. I have worn them everyday and have been comfortable from the get go. I spend a good 8 hours or more on my feet (according to my fit bit I walk at least 6 miles a day for work)...in and out of my truck, on castor decking unloading cans, you name it, I was comfortable doing it in these boots. AND...today we had freezing rain most of the day so I got to try out the traction.....it was excellent.I am so pleased with these boots, I can't even tell you.I never had to break them in. They are a bit heavy...but not for a steel toe, just heavier than your everyday sneaker or most certainly the running shoe I usually wear in the summer.I didn't give a 5 star based on color choices. Really....we are supposed to wear all black shoes or boots..and Keen does not offer them in the Flint, Detroit or Atlanta boot. Obviously not a deal breaker, just something I wish they would look at.

I love Keen's! LOVE THEM!!!!Supper comfortable, perfect fit, perfect weight, supper durable, has held me from falling a zillion times! Awesome sole grip. And the signature rubber over toes: supper cool!!!I can wear my Keen all day without a problem, no blisters, no squeezed toes, no pressed dorsal. Perfect arch support, very comfortable insoles, reinforced inner heel. The laces resemble parachord. It actually came with 2 shoe laces, a grey and white, and a solid grey. The loop on the back (outside) is perfect for assisting you get your shoes on.I work on my feet all day, at my job and with my rescued animals, so, having a pair of shoes that gives your feet support, is comfortable, durable and looks cool; is what I need!Love Keen!Pic is of a 3 year old Keen that was subjected to extreme daily use. It's still as comfortable as it was the day i got it, but now i only wear them to clean the rescue kennels....
