Barista Shoes
I am a BARISTA, and I am on my feet for most of the day. Not only that, but I have lower back problems.Let me start out by saying that it's hard for me to find durable, good-quality shoes that are non-slip (and don't look too clunky or masculine). I want a shoe that works as hard as I do, but I still want them to look good!I have the KEEN Women's Newport H2 Sandal, and I loved them for camping and hiking, so I decided to give Keen's work shoe a try.THESE SHOES ARE AMAZING. If you are on your feet for work most of the day (or you are a barista that wants to look professional, but also wants to be comfortable), try these on.A few days after I wore these, my back-aches after work were almost gone. I also didn't slip around as much (thanks the slip-resistant treads), and I felt comfortable standing hours at a time. They give minimal support in the arches (but not too much) and they wear well. However, I would advise GOING UP A SIZE AND A HALF. I am usually a size 9.5 women's shoe, and I had to go to a size 10.5.They also take a day or two to break in, so don't be alarmed if they feel a little "tight" when you first put them on.I am on my second pair, and I am going to keep buying them because nothing else has worked.

The best work shoe
I work in a school Cafeteria; the kitchen is a hard on the feet and knees. I did a lot of looking for no slip kitchen shoes. I decided to take a chance and spend a little more money than normal. I'm so glad I did. my first pair of Keen work shoes lasted me all school year and would have taken me into the next year, but I decided to order another pair. My feet NEVER hurt me. I have talk to other women about theses shoes and they decided to get them. They do feel a bit weird at the toe because of the toe guard thing but after 2/3 days you get used to it. These shoes are true to size and last. I will never buy a different work shoe.

My favorite work shoe
They are high quality with a comfortable wide toe box. Room to add your own arch support inserts. Love the extra sturdy toe. They look nice enough for a higher end job, although are on the casual side, so they work for any job that requires black shoes. I never have sore feet in these and I'm glad I got them.

Eh
My favorite casual shoes are keens, so when I needed to replace my work shoes I figured I would get some Keens. These were advertised as having memory foam insoles but they sure didn't feel that way to me. I was really hoping these would be super comfy and be able to get me through my shifts at a fast food restaurant without a lot of pain in my feet at the end of the day. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They did run a little small. I usually wear a 5 I ordered a 5.5 and they fit just fine. The overall quality of the shoe seems to be good, they just didn't work for my feet.

Eh, Keen can do better than this.
Minus a star for feeling cheaply made. I ordered these because I wanted something better than Shoes For Crews, they are not. Even the laces need improvement; they're cheap athletic laces rather something more appropriate for an oxford-type shoe.Minus a star for being too low-cut at the ankle and not providing enough stability.Minus a star for being so painful to break in. I need non-slip shoes as a server and the first few days were all ouch and I thought I'd have to get rid of these. They come with a fancy looking insole, but it adds nothing special. I've worn them about a month now and they're better, but they're still not top-notch.And minus another star. Updated because now the top layer of the insole is peeling off the bottom foam part.

Runs small low arch support lightweight
I found a good deal on my size 9.5 in womens for $50 I was very excited. Was sad when they were too small. I have never had any brand of shoe that was too small at size 9.5. With some brands I even wear a 9. Occasionally I wear a 10 if a brand doesn’t offer half sizes. The arch support was lacking which was another disappointment.Toebox space was good for me width wise and the shoes seemed good otherwise. Obviously it would not work for me and I won’t be spending $100 on a shoe that doesn’t have the arch support I want. But the style looked good. Not too “ugly”. I work at a more fine dining type of restaurant and these would have looked good for that. Lightweight, seemed like they would be easy to keep clean and the non slip seemed fine but I wasn’t able to test that aspect adequately since I only tried them on briefly at home.

Thank your Keen!! Great hiking.. Now Perfect Working Shoe!
Wow!! These shoes are so comfortable! Great quality and excellent performance at work! Just like a Keen shoe should be. One of my biggest concerns was feeling safe at work. Floor becomes extremely slippery when wet and I need to still work without worrying I’m going to fall. I need a high quality slip resistant bottom. These are them! Feet felt super stable and shoes were so supportive! Love them. These will be my shoe choice for work. ….. a year later and I still agree with this!!!
