The KEEN Utility Women's Sparta Low Height Alloy Toe ESD Work Shoes are designed specifically for those working in the automotive industry and other sectors requiring safety footwear. These shoes provide a remarkable combination of comfort, durability, and safety features that make them a solid choice for your professional needs.

Features

  • Alloy Toe: Left and right asymmetrical aluminum alloy safety toes that weigh 35% less than steel toes, meeting or exceeding ASTM F2412 and F2413, Female I/75 and C/75 SD standards.
  • Traction: Oil- and slip-resistant, non-marking rubber outsoles with siped sole patterns that offer grip even on slick surfaces. The ESD footwear is constructed to reduce excess static electricity, meeting ASTM F1677 Mark II and ASTM F2913 Satra non-slip standards.
  • Fit & Construction: Built on a specific women’s foot form that is wider than the industry norm for improved fit and comfort, the sizes listed are true to size. Non-mutilating uppers help to reduce the chance of marking or scratching surfaces.
  • Support: ESD shoes conduct static electricity through the insole, outsole, and into the ground, helping to regulate the buildup of electrical charge on your body. The TPU shank provides midfoot and underfoot support.
  • Comfort: Features KEEN.ReGEN technology, providing a lightweight, compression-resisting midsole that offers 50% more energy return than standard EVA foam, making safety footwear more comfortable. CleansportNXT provides natural odor protection.

Pros

  • Lightweight design at just 14.25 oz (404 g) per shoe.
  • Breathable mesh and moisture-wicking lining enhance comfort during long work hours.
  • Durable, water-resistant leather ensures longevity and performance in various conditions.
  • Removable insoles allow customization while maintaining ESD compliance when not replaced.

Cons

  • Some users may find the fit too wide if they have narrower feet.
  • The alloy toe may not provide the same level of protection as steel toe options for certain heavy-duty environments.
  • Price point may be higher compared to non-safety footwear options.

I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Surprisingly enough they are more comfortable than I thought they'd be. I'm a female 10m and purchased a 10m. At first they seemed a bit big but I realized that it's only because of the room that composition toe makes around that part of my foot... I just wasn't used to the fit. However, the shoe fits perfectly as my toes are where they should be and my heal doesn't slip or rub. I believe them to be a good warehouse shoe. I'm on my feet 9 to 10 hours a day and so far ( 2 weeks of wear) my feet feel great.

SO comfy!

I have to wear composite or steel toe shoes for my work and I work on a pavement surface 40 hours a week. I have worn Redwing shoes, and Puma. Both of those were so uncomfortable and made my feet HURT. These Keen shoes however, are so comfortable that I will wear them even when I am not working. I did buy a separate pair of cheap insoles for extra padding and my feet do not hurt at all! I’ve also had many pairs of Keen hiking shoes over the years. Keen is the best brand of shoes all around! The only negative, which I expected, is that they aren’t water proof. When it rains, my feet get soaked. But the mesh makes them very breathable in the summer. Probably not that warm in the winter though.Regarding size: I wear a 7.5 but when I buy Keen shoes, I always have to order an 8. The width is a perfect fit (I have narrow feet), very wide in the toe, which is nice for wearing thicker socks.

Great comfy, steel toe alternative, one cosmetic flaw

These are a great alternative to boots when steel toes are needed, I wear these when I don’t need a ton of extra ankle support. The only issue I have with these is the first time I wore them the plastic around the top shoelace whole near the tongue came off and is loose dangling on the shoelaces. This happened on both sides, it’s the small plastic eyelet piece that goes around the shoelace hole so doesn’t effect the function but makes them seem lesser quality/durable. Other then that they are comfy and a lot easier to take on and off then tall lace up boots.

Falling apart in less than 2 months.

Very disappointed. I purchased these on March 25 and the heel on one is falling off. This is my fourth pair of Keen work boots the previous three pairs were purchased at my local shoe store and lasted for over a year each pair. This is working 12 hours shifts on my feet the whole time. I thought I would save myself $30 and buy from Amazon. Apparently the shoes sold on Amazon are of a poor quality compared to the ones I've bought before. I guess it's time to buy local or try another brand. 😐 Interesting how the return window closed just a couple weeks ago, so the $30 I thought I'd save ended up costing me $90 plus the inconvenience of having to get new shoes in the middle of the work week.

2nd pair- LOVE them!

This is my 2nd pair of Keen Utility Sparta work shoes. I can't say enough about them. I am on my feet all day long & the comfort they afford me is outstanding. They support my feet are durable & I like the alloy toe. It's not heavy at all. I have worn them for a year now & thought I would get another pair to have as a backup. Simply a GREAT work shoe.

Best hard toe shoe I ever had

I have been using steel toe shoes for the past 16 years as my job requires it. I have had foot problems from wearing steel toe shoes. So, when I had to buy another pair, I was not too happy, as I hate steel toe shoes or any hard toe shoe. One of my co-workers told me to get these, and I was not too sure about that. Well, when I got these I loved it. I didn't even have to break them in or have my feet get used to them. This is really the most comfortable hard toe shoe I have ever had, and for me slip resistance is a must. This shoe has been perfect for that, and I have not slipped once. If you have to wear hard toe industrial shoes, this is a must. Oh the only thing is you will probably have to put better inserts into the shoe, that's the only thing I didn't like about the shoe. And if you are between sizes, go with the larger size.

Confortable but bad quality on the soles

The shoes are very confortable versus other barands of security shoes. Unfortunately, on the first day of use, the soles came apart. I'll keep them because as I said, they are so confortable and will try to glue them somehow, but I think is something you sould fix on your manufacturing process.
