Very comfortable to wear all day
I probably would love these if I could get them on. The opening is too small and inflexible to get my foot through. Disappointing!
Great warm winter shoe for snow and ice. Keen's have good room in the toe area and are well made and sturdy. They are a little difficult to pull on and I keep wishing I had a shoe horn to use.
They aren’t leather & they are very tight in the ankle. Very hard to get on without a shoe jack.
I've only ever worn Keen hiking boots or athletic shoes and those have always been superb quality, so I thought I'd give these a try.I normally wear an 8.5 and that's what I ordered and they fit as expected and are true to size. They have a good amount of space around the toes, which is something that is true of all my Keen shoes. It's a nice looking design that would do well for its intended purpose of being a utility or work shoe, but could just as easily be a casual everyday shoe. There's nothing particularly utilitarian about it that would necessarily relegate it to a single category, which is nice if you're looking for something sturdy enough for work but versatile enough to wear outside of work as well.In terms of comfort, the shoe has a substantial sole and a well-padded and fairly supportive insole, although I haven't worn these all day on a job, so I can't say how comfortable they'd be for long-duration wear. They are a bit of a pain to pull on, but thankfully have a pull tab at the back of the shoe that helps make this easier. The pull tab is sewn all the way down to the sole, so you don't have to worry about it detaching as you pull on the shoe and based on the overall quality, I would expect that to stand up well over the life of the shoe. They can't be simple slipped on, which may be a pain point for some people, but if you are going to use them for work, at least you won't have to worry that they'll easily slip off either. They're water resistant and the treads are robust making it unlikely that you'll slip with these on your feet.Overall, this is a very high quality shoe that's likely to last a long while, depending on how you intend to use it - longer as a casual shoe than a work shoe, but all my Keen shoes have delivered many years of service. I change the insoles, since those are always the first thing to wear out and I think that helps get more out of them. The only real pain point about this shoe is the difficulty in getting it on, but I think this will improve over time as the shoe becomes more supple with age. As with my other Keen's, I don't anticipate this shoe needing much of a "break in" period - all my Keen's have felt great from day one. They're true to size and come in regular and wide widths, so most people should be able to find the right fit. I recommend ordering whatever size you'd normally wear in an athletic shoe or hiking boot. I've been an 8.5 in every Keen I've tried, so their sizing has proven to be reliable across every type of shoe I've tried from this brand. I wish they'd have made these when I was still working as a chef - they'd have been great for that!
I could not get my foot into them even though I got my correct size. I returned them. Terrible design.
Hard to get the back on but reallyComfy. Probably couldn’t do a double with them though.
