Not disappointed....
I own various hiking shoes, boots, etc ... this particular pair is everything I had hoped for. I am flat footed with narrow feet and the fit is comfortable with excellent traction walking downhill terrain. I'd agree with it being heavier than most but the quality exceeds where other shoes fail. I've owned Merrell, Salamon, Columbia, Sketchers, etc. I did not receive any incentive writing this review. I just know I was on the fence with my decision on whether or not I should purchase and glad I did. Hope this helps someone.

just ok
First of all, I am a huge fan of Keen. I have worn them for years. They always fit great out of the box and last forever. This particular stye though, just doesn't seem as comfortable as the my old styles did. The toe box seems overly large and the heel area a little smaller than my other Keen's. Not enough to send them back, They are fine for running errands and casual wear, but enough that when i go hiking, I pull out the old ones.

Nice hiker!
I love these hikers. They are on the heavier side, but not too heavy. I purchase a lot of Keen hikers, and these are of good quality. They run big, however. I wear a 7 or 7 1/2 wide, and I purchased the 7 1/2 wide to wear a liner comfortably. I need to return them and buy a 61/2 wide.

They feel stiff out of the box but are comfortable
They feel stiff out of the box but are comfortable and seem to get more as I wear them. If I buy them again I will try an 8 1/2 instead of a 9 they are a bit big but I am keeping them. I love the look and color dark gray.

poor quality, not waterproof and not durable at all
TL;DR : poor quality, not durable; developed holes in the soles in under 2 months of moderate wear.I am sorry if this will turn out to be a long review, but as a customer who takes time to do the research and read reviews myself I hope it may help others make an informed decision when it comes to "KEEN Women's Circadia Low Height Comfortable Waterproof Hiking Shoe".I was looking for reliable waterproof hiking shoes and at the time of my order these had the highest ratings and the most glowing reviews. I also heard that Keen apparently guarantees their shoes for a year, which to me was an indication of quality and had set my expectations rather high: I hoped that these shoes would last for *at least* a year with moderate wear.I purchased these shoes in Fall 2024, but didn't wear them much until Spring 2025: I waited for the weather to be warm enough to start walking. I am around 150 lbs (without these shoes on :)), and I try to walk around 5000 steps a day (sometimes more, but often less, and not always wearing these shoes); I walk on a trail in a park or on asphalt/paved sidewalks in the city. I do not believe that I am too hard on these (or any) shoes, and I am well aware that no shoes are indestructible and eventually every shoe will show some wear and tear. I was not prepared, however, that these shoes would develop HOLES in the soles in under two months of moderate wear! I have worn a lot of budget (Walmart no name brand) shoes that lasted me a couple of years before needing to be replaced, and I've encountered things like scuffed toes, worn threads, issues with insoles or stretched out shoe laces, but none of those el-cheapo shoes looked as bad as these after only a couple of months, and I had NEVER worn the soles out of ANY shoes that I'd owned.Needless to say, I am beyond upset.I expected these shoes to be waterproof. They are not. The water seeps in through the top of the tongue (all of the exposed purple fabric absorbs moisture and wicks it inside) so walking in a drizzle might not get your feet instantly soaked, but your shoes will be wet inside and will *stay* wet (I had to run boot dryers for 48 hours to get these shoes dry after ~5 minutes in light rain).I expected these shoes to be durable and to last for at least a year. Not in the cards. The soles developed holes in less than two months of occasional wear. Now they'd soak through not only from the top, but from the bottom as well.Never in a million years I'd expect that from a top rated brand name shoe.Oh, and just so you know: "wear" is not covered by Keen's warranty. Please make an educated decision and do not throw your money away by purchasing inferior quality shoes. Take a look at the pictures to see what these shoes look like after a couple of months.

Great hiking boots
I took these out of the box and immediately went on long hikes without breaking them in (which isn't the best idea)- they were so comfortable and didn't cause any issues/blisters. These boots were purchased for a trip to Alaska and had some heavy duty, hiking, River exposure, other adventures. They held up to everything and were great at keeping my feet dry.Other reviewers said these shoes are too narrow, which I think might just be a user/lacing issue. I have regular to wide feet and these fit great.
