The boots worked perfectly during a hiking trip in the Alps. Hiked through mushy areas, some snow, some rain, small brooks, etc. and my feet stayed dry. The boots are comfortable and rugged enough for stepping on rocks, roots, climbing boulders, etc. I recommend them and would buy them again.
This is the best boot ever.
These are my second pair. I wore these for about a year to work (I work outside in all weather) and on hikes. They were extremely comfortable. I couldn't feel stones under my feet even when walking on them all day. They were waterproof for about 5 months but the stitching eventually came loose towards the toe around the laces and eventually by the heel. Then it started lifting off sole by toes. Thats when water and mud started getting in on wet days. If your using for occasional hikes, these will last a lot longer for you. I need something a little tougher so I don't have to buy them so frequently. I really beat these up though. More than normal wear and tear.
These things took us through puddles and rain and mud, and kept us comfortable and dry the whole time. I've never experienced a waterproof boot that is also so BREATHABLE. No sweat. While we intended to use them just for hiking, we ended up wearing them around town for our whole vacation as well. They are just so comfy and protective.As with any hiking boots, you may want to bump up one size. I loved the cool-toned gray and blue color palette in a world of brown and tan boots. While I was initially concerned about the suede-like material getting ruined, they still look good as new after days of trudging through rain. We're sold on Keens!
I have had these before and wanted new ones. They offer great support and style.

I have had 3 pairs of these hiking boots they are comfortable with a wide toe box. They are rugged, waterproof and great to hike in on all types of terrain.
