These are comfortable and supply some arch support. Very useful for the active person!

I bought these shoes because I am suffering from a severe case of Hammer Toe due to Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis which caused what I thought was a blister between my toes. I felt no discomfort until one morning when I awakened with a blister between my small toe and its neighbor and a matching blister on the big toe on the other foot. After weeks of self-treatment and pain, I finally went to the doctor, which I should have done immediately. It turns out that the blisters were a fungal infection, most likely Athlete's Foot. Oddly, I never suffered from sweaty feet and I wear clean socks every day and rotate my shoes! While trying self-treatment, I brilliantly ordered multiple shoes from Amazon in hopes of finding a pair that would fit me better than my regular shoes that hurt too much to wear. I wish I had been wise enough to realize that until the condition subsides, I won't be able to find any comfortable shoes. I hope that Amazon won't cancel my membership because of all the shoes I tried and have to return! I was able to figure out that the Orthofeet shoes I was wearing are now a half-size too small for me because I've worn slippers for over eight weeks. And that Fungal infections can be extremely stubborn. When I was looking for shoes that might work for me, I remembered that for many years, I wore only Keen sandals for as many months as I could during the year. The Hypaport were new to me and although I don't particularly care for the color, I found them to be quite comfortable and a possible shoe I might consider in the future. They are very well made, as are all Keen shoes, and supply some arch support and they feel more like shoes than sandals. The rubber soles come up the side to offer more support than most sandals do and they are waterproof. What I've always liked about Keen's is that I can adjust them for my narrow feet and heel and then expand the toe box as necessary. I thought they'd look horrible but they weren't bad at all. I may even consider them as a future purchase but my biggest concern is that they might prove to be hot. (I never tried on any shoes without a pair of clean socks.) Since my infection is almost gone, I tried them on again and that is still my main concern. I read reviews and one person said they made her feet sweat but another said they were very cool. I will have to think about them but I certainly do like these shoes and suggest that one try them out. I have big feet and I think they actually make them look smaller!

A great hiking sandal.

This sandal is very comfortable and suitable for hiking. The sole is thick and has great traction even on wet surfaces. I especially like the sturdiness of the sandal, it doesn’t allow my foot to twist. The size runs true.

Great purchase

I Highly recommend these shoes! We took a trip to Costa Rica and I wore these everywhere! From zip lining to hiking, jumping off water falls, ATV’ing and every day walking around they functioned well for every need I had. They were comfortable and cute. True to size and they have good support. The quality is great. The price isn’t cheap, but I feel they’re a good value for what they offer.

Almost Perfect - Heel Slides on Back of Foot

These would be perfect except the heel slides on the back of my foot and the stitching rubs to the point it worried me about blisters so I returned them. I usual wear a size 11 but 10.5 was better for me because they were too long otherwise. Very comfortable soles and snug adjustable fit. May look into the Newports to avoid the design of the heel material on these.

Awesome water shoes for hiking, swimming, or just every day

I bought these originally so that I could get into the pool with a broken foot once the boot came off and to protect it when showering. Not only did it serve that purpose well, I have continued to wear them as they are so comfortable for every day wear. I like that they cradle the foot and wrap to protect from turning the foot or ankle but also that they float, are waterproof, and that the toe is protected as you walk on cement or hiking trails. The color is also super cute.

GREAT improvement, similar to Hoka Hopara

These are so much better than all of the other canes I've had. Those were heavy, had poor grip, and would slip around if they weren't skin tight. They also took days to dry. These seem to be based on the hookah and they are much lighter weight they drive faster. They are more attractive, and they are even comfortable enough to wear all day. They have a little bit of arch support, believe me I need it, and the leasing system is so handy for making them looser for on the airplane or tighter for when you're walking up wet rocks. I wear these for swimming and Rockfield, waterfalls and rivers I don't wear them as much hiking because any kind of open shoe is going to accumulate gravel but they would be up for the task if that doesn't bother you or if you had the socks with them.I normally size 8 in shoes and 7 1/2 in sandals. I went with the eight in these so I had room for socks if I wanted to, but if I was only going to wear them in water, I would've gotten the 7 1/2 so they would stay nice and tight. Really really happy with this shoe.My only suggestion would be more and better colors. The color selection is hideous. I got the tan colored ones because they kind of blend in with my legs But it would've been nice to have some more stylish colors like a light or dark teal, bright colors that don't look like they are for little boys, etc. Maybe next time, Keen? Hope you are reading this!

Comfortable and great for hiking!

Comfortable, great for hiking on mossy, wet and rocky terrain. I tried to break them in before hiking and I got blisters on the back of my heels but when I went hiking I wore socks which prevented any friction on my skin. No matter what they’ll be kinda dorky looking, but they absolutely do the job better than I thought, are easily adjustable, and are sooooo much cheaper here than at Dick’s Sporting Goods and similar places. They’re true to size and not bulky.
