Takes a minute to get used to
This is the first time I've tried KEENs, having heard great things for years. I mention this because some of the features I mention might be a standard feature for this brand. I'm also not running in them because I get my knee replaced next month, so I can't run to save my life right now. They are true to size in terms of length. I have a wider forefoot and a narrower heel. I'm normally an Addidas girl because they consistently fit my feet the best. These have a nice wide toe box, but the heel is not quite as narrow. I'm not getting a ton of heel slip, though, it's just roomy. If it does start to slip on me, there are lacing techniques to lock down the heel. So they are great for a wider foot. The laces are reflective, flat and grippy, so they hold a knot well and aren't coming undone on me. There is a little elastic strap you can tuck your excess laces under if you need to. I'm especially impressed with the traction. I've been wearing these nonstop around my yard and on the hilly trails near my house. You can actually feel them gripping, especially on concrete. They are extremely supportive - here is where it might take a bit to get used to them: there is a very prominent support on the lateral sides of the shoe. This prevents supination (the foot rolling outwards when it lands). I know I pronate, (where the foot rolls inward) I always have and I usually wear superfeet insoles to prevent it. The lateral support in this shoe almost makes it feel to me as if I'm pronating more than I should. It's not uncomfortable, and I will need to visit a good shoe store to have them analyze my gait in these to be sure that I'm not pronating too much. If you know you supinate, these would be awesome for you. They are lightweight and breathable, and other than what I already mentioned, they are very comfortable and you can feel the cushioning when you walk. I usually blow through trail shoes pretty quickly; we'll see if these last. The mesh upper is likely to be the weak link in these shoes for me.This review is for: KEEN Women's Roam Breathable Lightweight Comfortable Trail Running Shoes (8, Warm Taupe/Cork)

Lightweight and breathable
These are really nice shoes but they don’t look “cute” on my feet. I realize this doesn’t have anything to do with the quality and comfort of the shoe. They are comfortable to wear and provide great arch support. The soles are also very sturdy and durable which makes for a great outdoor/all activity shoe.I wear and ordered a size 6 and these fit true to size. I found that double knotting the laces were necessary. These shoes are very pricey, not typically in my price point for these shoes, so they better last a long time with good use! Afterall, they are a trusted brand!

Step into Comfort with These Trail Running Shoes
These KEEN Roam trail running shoes are amazing! They are incredibly lightweight and breathable, making them perfect for long walks, hikes, or everyday wear. The fit is comfortable right out of the box, with excellent support for my feet and arches. The design is cute and sporty, and the traction on the soles gives me confidence on trails or uneven surfaces. Stylish, practical, super comfortable, and a beautiful color. These shoes exceeded my expectations.

Love them! Maybe size up if you're in between sizes.
It’s been many years since I purchased a pair of Keen shoes. I went through a phase of wearing their hiking sandals daily, even for long walks. I’ve probably purchased eight or nine pairs. I figured it was time to re-visit Keen in preparation for an upcoming trip to New Zealand where I plan to do a lot of hiking. In the meantime, I’ve been wearing Altra Lone Peak shoes for most of my outdoor needs but wanted to see what Keen had to offer, and was delighted to try out the Roam version. I’m quite pleased with the familiar fit and comfort I’d forgotten.Keen Roam has the wide toe box and cushy, padded comfort I want. They’re very breathable and lightweight and fit snugly all around without crowding. I might have wanted a half size larger so I’d encourage you to go up a size if you’re somewhere in between. The arch support is about average which is just fine for my needs. The sturdy, flexible sole should perform well on trails or rocks. They’re attractive to look at, too.I’m looking forward to breaking in this pair before our trip and will report back if they don’t hold up, but I don’t anticipate any problems!

Amazing
These tan KEEN women’s running shoes are exactly what I was hoping for. The color is a perfect neutral that matches with just about anything, and the design has that classic KEEN sturdiness without looking bulky. The comfort is outstanding. The cushioning feels supportive from the first step, and the arch support makes a noticeable difference on longer walks and runs. They’re lightweight but still feel tough enough for uneven terrain, which is hard to find in a running shoe. The traction is great too. I’ve worn them on pavement, trails, and wet ground, and they grip really well. The materials feel high quality and durable, so I can tell they’re going to hold up for a long time.Overall, these shoes are a fantastic choice if you want comfort, support, and a clean tan look that goes with everything. I’m really impressed with them and would absolutely buy them again.

No support
This shoe runs true to size. I'm a US 9 and that is what I ordered. Shoe is lightweight and breathable and the toe box is wide and does not confine my toes. The shoe is not aesthetically pleasing at all but I had hoped the comfort and support would trump the way it looks. I needed these for my daily 3 mile walk. Unfortunately there is no arch support at all. Like nothing. I don't need a large arch, but every shoe has something. I won't be able to use these for long walks or hikes. They are comfortable enough to walk around and run errands, but that is not what I needed them for. I think the price point is WAY too high for what this shoe offers. Super disappointing and in my mind not worth the hefty price tag. But that's just me. I was really expecting more at this price point.
