Keen Uneek Astoria - even better than I'd hoped
I love Keen shoes for adventuring. They are very sturdy, durable, comfortable, and attractive in design, given their main role is traction and protection on my feet. I've been eyeing the Uneek for years. I decided on the Astoria - the water shoe. I picked Birch/Plaza taupe. It is a very attractive sandal. The top panel has a little shimmer. The color scheme is elegant.The sizing seems true. The footbed it molded to the foot, with arch support. It's sturdy, but flexible. The sandals feel great on my feet. They hold tight to keep my feet from slipping on the sandal. The soles are the standard Keen design which provides excellent grip on slippery surfaces.I own various Keen designs--the Rose sandal, the Whisper Closed toe--and this one is my favorite. I love the design. It will look good with everything from summer dresses and skirts, to a bathing suit. It can go in water, but it can also be used for light hiking, walking, and everyday wear. When I travel, I look for a sandal that can do everything. This is it!

Unique, attractive, fits well
Got a size 9, which would usually be a little loose but I am between sizes. However, this one fit exactly, lucky for me, toe is all the way forward. The "net" design is very interesting and comfortable, there is no one place that pinches as the hours go by. Am testing this out as my "go to" walking shoe for upcoming trip to Spain, France, Italy where walking on uneven ground and cobblestones all day requires a stiff undersole, good balance, and nonslip. To my surprise, except for the heel strap, this sandal/shoe "could" be used for going out to dinner as the front net lacy part looks mildly elegant. Am committed to bringing only ONE walking show plus my Aerothotic slippers which I ended up wearing on cobblestones almost daily when my New Balance sneakers (also travel proven) started to smell, . Testing these Keens wearing "peds" on the front part of my foot for toe-jam reduction, but supposedly you can wear them bare footed. After two days of walking around for 8 hours at home and on errands, they at least pass the first level comfort test. disclosure: I have very problematic feet and 7 out of 10 covered sandals and shoes give me blisters SOMEWHERE on my foot so I spend a medium fortune buying different ones. Am also a believer in minimal packing hence my fanatic focus on finding THE right walking/touring shoe. Plan to wear long pants or midi-skirts/dress so the sporty aspect of this sandal is less obvious. PS I normally do not write product reviews unless they are extremely good or bad, so I thought I would contribute this one for those of you who also have trouble with finding closed sandals that are blister free.

Comfy but make my feet sweat bad.
I know this sounds weird but they do make my feet sweat very bad. I don’t know how and why.Another downside is that they get dirty to easily. I wash them every few days.Now let’s hear the bright side. They are super comfy to walk or run on. Easy to put on and adjust. They cover my toes very well. They look very nice. I’ll keep wearing them for sure but I will not buy this model again.

Cute and Comfortable
I am new to Keene sandals and love them. When I realized these were unisex I was nervous they would look clunky, but I'm so glad I purchased them. They're feminine and sporty at the same time, and matched all my summer outfits. I'm not sure whether the soles are anti-fatigue but I definitely had extra support in my step wearing these. I found the fit true to size, and the material above and around the foot very soft. The sandals stayed in place firmly while still being comfortable, and there's no annoying slapping of the shoe against your heel. If I had to find something bad to say it would be that, even though these sandals are very breathable, the snug (in a good way) fit will not prevent sweaty soles. That's the tradeoff for having shoes firmly strapped to your feet for long stretches instead of sliding around in flip flops.
