Finally perfect fit and comfort!
I must have tried nine pairs of waterproof trail shoes before I found these. I purchased these a half size larger for two reasons. I am planning a long hike and after trying so many and reading reviews the half size worked out. At once when I put these on there was No questiqon. I had found my shoes. Even in pink! They are waterproof(I tested them), fit so well and comfortably they really don’t need the typical break in period. The sole and thickness seem durable and high enough to keep my feet elevated enough out of water and muck. They have perfect support for me- note I have been training my feet for zero drop and my body is loving it. The toe box also has plenty of room, not quite “wide toebox” yet wide enough to flex my toes without too much constraint. I always shop budget so after so many tries the price must have been acceptable. One note of my pictures- I have changed the laces as I must in all my tie athletic shoes. I have hand issues from neuropathy to arthritis and bungee laces are the only way to go for me- those are not factory- thats my change.I recommend these. I am not sure what is going on in the industry re sizing but I am finally so grateful to have found these!

BEST shoes (of any kind): Love at first step!
I'll be honest. I have some difficult to fit feet. I have narrow feet with a wide toe box due to some weird genetics. For that reason, I rarely wear tennis shoes and those that I do, I have trouble finding. And still they tend to be a bit uncomfortable. BUT... I did not order these because I thought they were tennis shoes... I ordered them because I need all weather traction shoes. Hiking, waterproof-but-breathable and warm when it counts. Not only do these KEEN waterproof all terrain shoes tick all the boxes I needed, but they also FEEL like high quality tennis shoes!I'm so grateful to have "substantial" all terrain shoes that move with my awkward feet. I read about the company before ordering. I did my research. I knew that I should order half a size up for my typical size 8. The 8.5 is absolutely perfect! It has a good size toe box without being clunky. They walk like sneakers but grip like hiking shoes. I was expecting heavy, but these are nice and light for shoes that can be worn hiking!I haven't tested whether or not they keep the water out, but I have inspected them very very closely. I don't see how water will be able to get into these, and I feel like I will be able to wear them in rain and snow without discomfort. I know the grip is there, and while I'm not hoping for snow, I know it will come and I can count on these shoes!I do have fairly high arches, and did not feel that there was any lack of support while wearing and walking in these. I did notice that, in a good way, the heel is slightly dropped... And I mean slightly. This helps stretch the Achilles and makes walking on any surface easier - - at least for me. I love the insole.On close inspection I found no flaws in the construction. I like the color and love their color selections. I love the design for being simultaneously lightweight, durable and functional.In terms of value, based upon my research, I can say that the price tag is likely spot-on. It's certainly not unheard of for this brand to offer the occasional discount, so be on the lookout.Overall, I backed these shoes 1,000%. Keep in mind their reputation for sizing and follow their size chart precisely. In fact, add one or two tenths of an inch to your measurement and order that size. If in between, order up to the next half size. It's that simple. Research is key.Like the title of my review implies, these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I look forward to a long future with these clearly high quality shoes!

very grippy, laces are too short and ankle rubs tendon
I usually wear a 7.5W but that wasn’t available so I ordered these in size 8 in the color “Vapor/Ballad Blue” which worked fine. This was my first time trying KEEN brand. These were comfortable enough for general walking and I’ve used them for about a month and a half. I didn’t like how the high the part on the back rubbed my ankle. It pushed in right on my tendon and took some getting used to. I hope it isn’t doing some damage. The bottom is very grippy and a bit noisy. It sounded a bit like walking in cleats on asphalt. The shoelaces are too short and I’ve had to switch them out since I pictured them. I could tie them, but it looked silly and was hard to do.

Not made for wide feet, but still a great shoe.
These are really great shoes and very comfortable for most people. I, however, have wide, tall feet with a high arch and should have realized that KEEN is never going to fit my foot. That said, this is a really high quality shoe. Very well made with excellent cushion and support. These shoes will last you a long time and would work great for any narrow-footed woman. They're also really pretty shoes. They look stylish. I'm sad I can't use them, but I would still highly recommend them.

I was completely blown away at how great these shoes are right out of the box! I did not have high expectations because the other pair of Keen shoes I have are the Circadia hiking shoes and I am not that happy with those as far as comfort and fit. I have been looking for a pair of trail runners for those easy hikes where you don’t need big clunky boots and these shoes completely fit the bill. I am a runner and over the years I have developed big problems with my feet but these shoes are incredibly comfortable and I wore them right out of the box, all day long and my feet felt great. They are very supportive, soft, comfortable and the toe box has a comfortable width so my toes aren’t squished. I wear a size 8 and my other Keens run large so I could have gotten away with a 7.5 but these are true to size and the 8 was a perfect fit. This shoe feels very well made and solid but lightweight and the laces are better than any I’ve used on my other shoes. The Vapor/Ballad Blue is a great soft color that goes nice with jeans or athletic clothing making it an attractive shoe. I almost don’t want to get them dirty hiking! They are very versatile for everyday use, trail running, hiking or walking! I am so happy I decided to give these a try and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Overall, a great, wonderful shoe that I expect to get many miles out of.
