waterproof, comfy, warm, awesome all-around

I adore these, can wear them all day. They are waterproof and lighter than some hiking boots. I love the wider toe box. I can only say good things about these boots.

Best boots EVER! So comfy and cute.

These boots are perfect! I've owned Keen shoes before, but not their boots. I have been looking for waterproof boots for a few months now after almost ruining a pair of Uggs in a snow storm. These boots are so comfy. The perfect width and the toe box is nice and roomy. I am actually looking forward to the next snow storm so I can test them. They do fit true to size. Several reviews I read on similar Keen boots said to order larger, but these are true to size.

Comfortable, functional, go anywhere boots!

Love these boots. Waterproof, warm and amazing traction. I love wearing these boots in the snow to walk my dogs, trek across town on icy sidewalks,Or any outdoor winter activity. Look great with winter clothing, jeans, leggings! Very balanced tread and footbed. If you want boots sure to get you anywhere and through anything the winter throws at you - get yourself some of these!

They run bigger

Boots arrived and were clearly worn previously and returned, highly possible that the seller did not notice the slight areas where someone had attempted to get rid of the wear lines/creases at the toe where it bends when walking. I did approach the seller who gave a $20 refund in a timely manner after I sent pics to show the wear, but I felt that was a low offer considering the boots were fairly expensive for me, I've never spent that much on a pair of shoes ever. The only other option I was given was to send them back and I was in need of the boots for winter so not really an option, this was the ONLY pair I could find anywhere. They are comfortable as Keens usually are, they do run big which I like because then I can wear thick socks with them, my feet get cold easily. The reason for a 4 instead of 5 is because they squeak when you walk, quite loudly, I'm guessing this is why they were returned previously. The leather around the ankle and up takes a long time to break in, I've ben wearing them nonstop for a few months and they still squeak but thankfully a bit softer now. Color is great, matches with just about anything and I love the style, they also seem to be wearing well.

Outstanding for high volume feet

Great fit for my high volume (thick up and down), wide-ish, wedge shaped feet. So far, waterproof and warm, though these two features have not been rigorously tested - yet. They don't make my feet sweaty; they go on/off easily; they're pretty lightweight, especially for snow boots; they're quiet with somewhat flexible rubberish-y outsoles; their shank feels supportive; their laces are plenty long; their insoles (which are thin) are removable. The cushioning could be better, but it seems adequate. The collar brings to mind sweater knit. It has started to show wear already (because I mostly wear pants - as opposed to not), but that IS its job. Fleece, faux shearling, etc are the wear bars of the winter boot world. I am NOT leaving my ice cleats on, because when I did this before, the constant pressure might have contributed to the soles of my snow boots prematurely peeling away.I bought a 9 in Kaci 2 and have just the right amount of room for an extra pair of lightweight winter socks. For reference, Drew Krista 8.5 W fits me perfectly. Most Alegria 38s fit but can be a little snug across the ball of my foot. Merrell Pandi II 8.5 is roomy. My beloved Ariat Fat Babies are tight over the instep and need stretching. Birks are ALL wrong. Keens usually fit, but not Tevas, which are meant for narrow, long-toed feet that leave parentheses-like tracks. People with narrow feet might not like these, though a high arch should be okay. The depth seems sufficient for most orthotics.I can sometimes get by with a medium width shoe, but wide is always more comfortable. In sandals, I often wear an 8; in shoes, an 8.5; in boots, a 9.I really like these boots; I forget it's even boots I have on.

Comfortable and durable

This is my third pair. They fit comfortably from day one and are true to size. They are very durable. I use them to work in rocky uneven terrain and I use them mercilessly. There is no separation anywhere. I have replaced the insoles on one pair, but only because I had worn them to death. Great boots.

Removable Insole was junk

Been a loyal customer of Keen for over 10 years. Have alot of shoes and boots. This is the first I ever returned and it made me change my mind about Keen. I always bought them because of the nice arch support and comfort they provided and roomy toebox. The removable insole had the thickness and texture of a foam egg carton. It wasn't the comfort or quality Keen is known for. The price went up but the quality of Keen went down. Good-by Keen! I'm gonna miss you but I got a nice pair of Timberland hiking boots that are good quality and great fit. Now I gotta figure out where I"m going to get the rest of my shoes, boots.
