Great boots for winter!
Awesome boots, lots of room in toe box, warm, and I can walk on icy sidewalks as needed. These have good grip. Totally recommend. The only tip I would share is yo be careful not to tie too tightly around the ankles because they can get feel sore after a lot of walking. The boots are pretty rigid, which is protective, but I've learned to tie them a little more loosely.

Great Boots
Used these boots for hunting. Lowest temp was 24 degree in mornings. They are warmest boots I’ve ever owned. Light weight, comfortable, good traction. I did not step in water this trip so not sure about waterproof. I wear a Ladies 8. I ordered 8.5. My 1 pair of thick wool socks fits perfectly. Wide toe box so good circulation in toes.

Good, but listing is wrong color.
Honestly, a solid, warm boot. I work at a hockey rink and these are pretty good on ice, as long as it isn't super slick and wet. Most other boots I've tried I slip on ice even when the ice was chewed up, but these I have decent traction. My only tiff is the color. I got the wrong color, which was my fault for not reading the listed color. The Keen maple/dark forest listing picture is of the black boot with blue lacing, so that is something to look for. The color is gorgeous though. No complaints.

Excellent winter boots
After a few months of Midwest winter I grew tired of wearing double socks and still getting cold feet or snow in my previous boots, so I went with these amazing boots. I sized up half a number in case I needed to wear extra thick socks (didn't find that necessary at all). The traction is just perfect, I could walk confidently (and carefully) through ice without them adding any risk. They are really comfortable, I love the wider toe cage and the thickness of the sole. I wore them with regular thin socks and I could easily be walking outside on a windy day at -2°F and my feet would be perfectly comfortable. Needless to say they are totally waterproof. Arch support was ok for someone with somewhat of a fallen arch. Color and style were ok. They are practical winter shoes. Totally recommend them.

worth the purchase! very warm!
These are the best winter boots I have purchased, I have a health disease and I have never been able to purchase anything worth the $- Totally worth the price- and its true to size i am usually a 8.5 and still have enough room to wiggle with bigger socks on

Disappointed-Sent wrong size and color boots
I ordered the Dusty Olive/Rose Dawn boots in size 7.5. I received the black ones with the green laces, in size 8. I filled out a return, in the meantime they sent me a second set, the same wrong pair, black with green and size 8. Keen is a high quality snow boot. I’ve had a pair for 19 years and they are still awesome and comfortable. But whoever is packing these orders needs training on colors and sizes so the correct orders go out. There’s absolutely NO quality control in packaging.

Update after 4 months: So warm and comfortable!
I normally a size 8.5, but ordered the size 9 and the fit perfectly! So comfortable with regular socks AND Smartwool or Darn Tough socks. I love that they're not too bulky for winter boots either. I can even wear them with boot cut jeans! I just wore them (along with Smartwool socks) on a 30 minute dog walk in 26° weather and my feet were toasty! My feet are usually freezing in anything below 55°.Solid purchase! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!UPDATE: I've made these my go-to boots for the winter. Comfortable on short 5 mile hikes, playing in the snow with my energetic dog, AND I was happy to find out how comfortable these boots turned out to be on a 26+ mile bicycle ride I took this week! The laces do tend to untie themselves even with double tying, but I solved that issue by simply hooking the "bow" of the lace to the top hook (clasp? 🤷♀️) and pulled them snug. Hasn't been an issue since. And that's without the need to double tie them!As for the stiffness up the shin...I plant my feet on the floor and lean my legs forward before tightening the laces to accommodate my mobility for walking uphill, pedaling, etc. After about 4 months, they still feel & fit perfectly!
