Very comfortable sturdy shoes

The shoes are stiff at first, I definitely had to break them in. But overall they run true to size and are comfortable. I am impressed by the quality, they are well made. Similar shoes by other companies are more expensive - these have similar or better quality for a very reasonable price. I like that Keen makes a lot of their shoes right here in USA. Overall, great shoes

Comfortable-Durable

I read a lot of reviews and was scared when everyone wrote they were to stiff. But they are hiking shoes so they should have a degree of stiffness for support. I thought they are comfortable, they provide the perfect amountof support and have a lot of cushion. They are waterproof and are a great price. They are snug but not tight enough that I would need a bigger size.

A little tight for me.

Love the color, a nice, rich rust. With few exceptions, I am a reliable size US 8.5. I tested these hiking shoes with a medium-weight sock, and while they "fit," they were tight across the top and had no room to spare at the toe, which progressed to low level discomfort within an hour. Not a good omen for a hiking shoe. Going up a size usually just misaligns the arch support for me. So, other than they are not a good fit for my feet, they are a nice looking, well-constructed hiking shoe that I will need to return.

This vendor sent a B Grade product

These shoes came in an unmarked box and not in a Keen Branded box. It was also marked as B Grade like when products don’t make the companies quality standards. Just like labeling it as a second. I looked at the description again and there was nowhere that said it would be a B Grade product. I found the product sub par and extremely narrow. I bought the same shoes before from Keen, but these shoes seemed so different!! Maybe it was a different vendor that shipped out the shoe this time.

Nice but run small

Light and comfortable but run VERY small. I recommend going up at least a half size. I wear 9.5, which is what I ordered, and they fit like tight 9s. They do have good arch support, which I need for my narrow feet. I mostly use these for gardening and mowing.

Good product

I tried several hiking shoes on. I have a bit of arthritis in my foot, across base of big toe and these shoes were comfortable for this...i think that they are a bit more flexible and wider in toe box. I tried several brands and went with these and i was pleased.Tried them out in rain, mud, some ocean water....waterproof! Very pleased that they kept my feet dry.I wore them on a 4 mile hike,no blisters. No need to break them in!

I’m returning - stiff and tight, except where needed (the heel)

Likes:Plain ColorWaterproofing worked wellI didn’t have to stop walking because laces were flopping around or coming untied, like I often used to with KeensDislikedThe Heel moved while walking. Blisters on both heels after a leisurely 3 mile walk on flat terrain i.e. my feet weren’t sweaty or anything,Tight and pointy toebox (very off-brand for keens) Stiff/Hard to adjust/tighten and loosen with laces, just generally not comfy like my old Keens*Way* too Expensive! for ordinary walking shoes. I’ve lucked out twice in the past & gotten Keens affordably before at things like a rock-climbing fundraiser ($40), and an REI garage sale ($11), at those prices I didn’t mind the way they basically fall apart, at least I wanted to wear them all the time. 150$? is obscene. Glad I ordered some La Sportiva trail runners as a backup, they fit well, are light, have great traction, are easier to put in a suitcase and cost a lot less. I’m also reverting back to my original belief that waterproofing is not really necessary & not worth the stiffness - I’m walking for a relatively short time, and wet trail shoes dry out quickly when stuffed with paper.
