Seams to tun a bit small
I seem to bounce between an 11 and a 12 in Keen shoes. The highest size for this shoe is an 11 and my toes are tightly crunched, so it may run a little shorter than others.
Best shoes ever!
Cannot believe these are Keen!Horribly tight and short in the toe box.Glued fabric with clumps of glue.Truly not Keen standards.
A bit small with thicker socks.
I love Keens. In most brands, I fluctuate between a 9 and 9.5 but have always worn a 9.5 in all of the Keen shoes I've owned, but I might have considered a 10 in these for the reason I'll list below. They're relatively lightweight and appear well-made. I was excited to wear them, but unfortunately, due to having had both of my big toe joints injured and surgically repaired, they curve upward too much for my feet. They almost feel too short because of the curve, as well. They seemed to push my feet forward toward the front end, which made me think that if I were wearing anything but a thin sock, I would perhaps size up a 1/2 size. Barefoot, 9.5 was the correct size for me. If the front of the toe had been flat on these (like all of the other Keens I've previously worn), I think they would've been great. If you can handle that upward curve, it does offer a nice rocking motion and I'm sure they would be fantastic. The insoles are removable. The heel can fold down but I'm not sure how comfortable it would be to walk on it; I'd likely wear them with my foot fully inside. I have a narrow heel and low volume foot - these weren't overly sloppy on my foot so I'm not sure how they'd work on someone with a wide foot. For my bony feet, they were easy to slide in and out of.The blue color isn't my style (I'm thinking dark olive green in this style would be fantastic) but is nice -- not too bright, not too light... seems like a good option to wear with jeans. Overall, looks like a great shoe, just wish the toebox had been flat and wider so I could make use of them.
