Very well made but not for those with wide feet.

I really like these boots but the narrow width was a deal breaker. I normally wear a 10W, and I reviewed posts indicating the boots were actually wider than normal. I gave a size 10 a try but they were a bit too narrow for me. I am giving these boots a high rating because of the quality of the craftsmanship and the posting clearly indicates wide sizes are not available. I took a chance and it just didn't work. The seller was great to work with, and I ended up getting a pair of Desert Guides in 10W. I have been very pleased with those boots so far.

Great boots!

These are great boots that fit really well and seem to be really well constructed. It took me about 20 miles to get them fully broken in but they were comfortable out of the box. My only concern with them is the Django soles seem to be fairly soft material which makes them quiet walkers (good for hunting?) and grippy but I don't know how well they will hold up over the long term with hiking on sharp rocks. These seem like they would be good daily wear boots but could also hold up fine with a pretty tough hike or hunt. I like the fact that they are the lightest of the Kenetrek hiking/hunting boots as well.

Great boot!

I’ve just started wearing this boot. It’s comfortable right out of the box, so I’m pleased thus far. I’m looking forward to putting them to the test on my Zimbabwe safari later this month.

They are holding up great love the the light weight feel but they do ...

I usually always wear a 12 regular but these boots a bit smaller in width and should of purchased the wide but.. They are holding up great love the the light weight feel but they do heat up in the summer even though the lining information supplied is supposed to wick away moisture and that is agreeable to a point but leather is leather there is no breathing at all.I wear a light weight dry sock or liner sock in the summer and it seems to work just fine I have additionally added Lathrop and Son's custom fitted footbed to the Safari's and now they feel as smooth as glass on rough terrain. I have additionally worn the Safari's all winter here in the PNW but they are not waterproof and this is something to keep in mind if the weather gets real wet and that's when I put on my Kenetrek "Hard Scrabble's Both are a very high quality boot that is worth paying the price for!

I have 6 pair of Kenetrek's I wear Safari's around the house, around town and light hikes

Kenetrek fits my feet and my orthotics. I have 6 pair of Kenetreks 2 Safari's, Desert Guide, Hardscrabble Hiker, 2 pair of Mountain Extreme's. I am on my feet almost all day and so are Kenetreks whether hiking off trail in steep canyons chasing chukars, photographing Owls in a riparian zone or working at my stand up desk as I am now. They flat out perform.
