Too stiff

So stiff that it made hiking difficult and found myself feeling less stable because of it. Returned

Good boots

1st of all, I'm a huge Kenetrek fan. I have insulated mtn extremes and they're the best boot I ever have worn. But I needed lighter uninsulated boots, so I ordered these. While the 7.5 Insulated Mountain Extreme fit me perfectly, the 7.5 in this boot had a lot of heel slip and felt too big. Kenetrek advised to wear it and break it in, and if it still bothered me to send it to them and they could stretch the heel.I didn't want to risk it on such an expensive boot so I decided to return. In hindsight I wish I had ordered a size 7 (ordered both on sale and sent 1 back).I will wait for another sale and try the size 7. I still love these boots! Nearest dealer is hours away.

Worth the price

My husband finally talked me into a pair of these. I regret not buying them sooner. They fit great, wear impressively well, and are surprisingly lightweight for their design

Laces are way too short !!!

The laces are about 18 inches short. Not nearley what you would expect for a pair of $360.00 hiking boots.

Worth it.

These boots are absolutely worth the price. I took these on a month long backpacking trip in Utah and my feet never blistered. They've also kept my feet warm through snow. These come with the "supportive" insole, and I traded them out for the "comfort" insole, which fit my feet better.
