I have knee, ankle and foot issues from ballet. As a hunter I needed a good boot to get me moving through the woods..these are the best boots I have found to hike all day without being in pain by the end. Worth every penny. These are very comfortable, durable, waterproof (buy the wax from Kennetrek!), and supportive. I can grip rocks, leaves, branches, and squat down while feeling really supported. I was so afraid to make such an expensive purchase and take that risk but I can hunt longer and with more confidence due to having great footwear.

Significantly better than my old boots without even breaking them in. Packed out a deer on a steep ridge with next to no foot pain on the first wear. They were dry and warm with light weight socks. I guess I can understand the high price for them.

Best warm hiking boots!
Fit is true to size. They are warm and super supportive boots! No more rolling ankles while hiking! They are very stiff at first and takes a bit to break in.

Worth it!
These are the most expensive boots I've ever purchased but they are worth it. I'm a wildlife biologist and spend a lot of time outdoors year round. These were so comfortable right out of the box and have kept my feet warm into the single digits. Wish amazon sold the uninsulated version!
