Such cute velvet mary janes
I ordered these for my wife without asking her first. I thought they were SO cute in green, and I sincerely thought about getting them for myself instead, but I never get dressed up because I'm a sweatpants monster who likes being comfy and never leaves the house, while my wife prefers to be dolled up near 100% of the time. When they arrived today and she was about to try them on, though, I told her I was going to be mad if they didn't fit her because we have very different shoe sizes and then neither of us would be able to wear them. She was immediately delighted with the look of them, as was I, and she brought up the idea of wearing them with a pretty red dress and some gold jewelry for Christmas, which I think is a wonderful idea. She tried them on and she says they fit perfectly. She tends to be between an 11 and a 12, but she's an 11 in women's Nikes for reference. We got these in an 11 as well and it worked out perfectly. The only complaint my wife has after wearing them for a bit is that the soles are a bit slippery on our tile floor. She thinks that might calm down with wear, but be careful on smooth surfaces with these!
