Narrow fit, reasonably stylish

I ordered the white in size 12. They're a bit narrow in the toe-box, and I don't think they'll stretch out much over time. I don't usually need a wide shoe, but these might be better in a wide variety. Regarding the style, in retrospect I think the black look better than the white - I might consider picking up a pair in black. The white have too much going on - grey toe, black heel, etc. Not a bad shoe for the price, but there are lots of options out there today.

Well Manufactured, but...

The shoe looks fine (though I don't prefer whitewall bottoms just for practicality's sake), and it's well made. It feels secure at the seams; the fabric is strong...it seems like a shoe that will endure a long period of use.However, it feels a little thin, size-wise. I got a 12, and the length is fine. But compared to every other shoe of the same size, the Kenneth Cole sneaker is definitely a bit tighter on the sides--even if I loosen the strings. Don't know if this is by design or a failing of this particular size or batch. It's not a deal breaker. I can still wear the shoe...I'm just less inclined to.

Terrific blend of style and comfort for traveling!

Perfect blend of stylish casual and travel-friendly comfort! Purchased these for my husband to bring on a 10-day adventure to Amsterdam & Paris. We like to travel light (no checked bags), so he wanted shoes that would serve as dual-purpose; nice enough to pop into upscale cafes and restaurants on a whim while also being comfortable enough to walk/bike a lot in. We walked 5+ miles/day seeing tourist sites or biked 10+ miles, with frequent stops. These shoes performed well with the high level of activity. High performance sneakers would’ve been best for maximum comfort of course, but these shoes were ideal for the dual purpose of style meets comfort and held up. He said his feet only started hurting after day 7 or 8 and even then, after resting a bit - these shoes carried him on comfortably. They are made of high quality, durable materials. The leather helps repel water if it rains - great for those unpredictable rainy travel days. The black/white neutral colors matched all his outfits. Exactly what you want when traveling light; shoes that match everything and serve a variety of purposes. He only had to bring one other pair of dress shoes (more formal) in addition to these. They fit true to standard US sizes. The black laces are great if you need to tighten them a bit but blend to the top of the shoe to give them a nicer, less “sneaker” look. Overall, these functioned perfect for the occasion and intended purpose. The price is right for the design, durability, brand and quality materials. Kenneth Cole is a reliable quality brand at an affordable price range - these shoes held up above and beyond to the brand name! My husband’s new go-to every day casual and travel shoes!
