Good Budget Barefoot Pick
These have a nice, flexible sole and a very wide toe box. These back of the heel has a bit of a cushion, which is a plus in my eyes (mo heel blisters) and doesn’t seem to interfere with foot movement. There is a very slight arch in the shoe, which I know many barefoot shoe aficionados don’t like, but it’s so slight that it’s not a problem for me. My 4 year old can put them on easily. He loves the red, which does give a bit of a clown shoe vibe with the wide toe box, but it’s still cute. So far, they’ve stood up to a couple weeks of hard use without showing damage (no fuzzing at the Velcro, which is often where shoes fail), so I’d guess pretty durable, especially for the price!

The perfect shape for your toes!
These are great, lightweight, and have a really good width for the toes. Not narrow like many other models!!!! But if your child has a high instep, they won't be suitable.

Great shoe for kids with wide toebox
These were great for my kids wide toebox. I do find them to be expensive for little ones that outgrow them in a month or so. However, the color was nice, quality seems decent. They are holding up after a few weeks. They are nice and flexible for my little ones developing feet and he doesn’t seem to have a hard time walking with them.
