Comfortable and Cute, but Very Faux Leather

I was honestly really happy with these boots once I got them on. Fit-wise, they’re great. I usually wear an 8.5–9, and the 8.5 fits perfectly with room for socks. The calf space is generous, which is not always easy to find in knee-high boots. I’m 5’3” and was so glad that these aren’t too tall or awkwardly proportioned on my shorter frame. The low chunky heel is exactly what I want for everyday wear. Aesthetically, they really shine from a distance. The vintage brown color is beautiful, and I absolutely love the burnished detail on the toes and heels. That worn-in, retro look is what sold me, and it looks great styled casually or slightly dressed up. Now the downside. Up close, the faux leather quality really, really looks faux. And not in a subtle way. It honestly reminds me of those vinyl, naugahyde-coated couches from the 1970s. From a normal standing or walking distance, it’s fine but if material realism matters to you, this is something to be aware of. Otherwise, these are comfortable, flattering, well-fitting boots with a great color and silhouette. Just don’t expect the faux leather to pass for the real thing up close. For the price and comfort, though, I’m still very happy with them.

Obvious faux leather but very pretty, accurate sizing

I wanted to love these boots, and though they came close to being a five star item, I just couldn't get there.Firstly, they are very pretty and the quality seems to be great. The packaging was also superb. The issues that I have are that it is obvious that they are not actual leather and the heel is slick. The sole at the ball of your foot grips the floor well but the heels feel slick to me. For these reasons I feel like they're priced a bit too high for what you're getting.The color is even and the stitching is great, so the quality in those departments is wonderful. The sizing is also spot on. I wear a size 11 and cannot comfortably wear shoes that are an iota too small, these fit perfectly.The leg of the boots are soft and supple and almost feel padded, yet will stand erect. That's a nice feature. And they look nice while wearing them, I just can't get past the part that it is very obvious (to me) that they're faux leather. There isn't any lining in the boots, so I wouldn't recommend wearing them in cooler temperatures.
