I was amazed. They are rubber
I bought a pair of these on closeout at Walmart 5 years ago. I was amazed. They are rubber. I bought them to wear outside when I was doing watering and yard work. I ended up wearing them all the time. I wear them every where. My feet never hurt no matter how long I wear them. I suggest socks because they are rubber. Though I wear my old pair that are really worn sometimes without. put new insoles in them because I have worn holes in the bottom. I suggest these to anyone with foot pain. I have a bunion, I have diabetic neuropathy I hate wearing constrictive shoes. Best thing I ever did. Ran into a guy wearing a pair one day he said hey you have these too, he said aren't they great..

I ordered the Klogs to only wear around my house in place of sneakers since most of the time I kick off my sneakers when sitting, it would be quicker to just slide on and off Klogs. Unfortunately, they were so uncomfortable after wearing them for 10 mins. that I gave them to my best friend who is going to try wearing them at her job since she needs another pair of Klogs. Also, the opening is very narrow even on the 10 wide size that I ordered. As far as the toe box it is wide but not wide enough for me as my small toe rubbed against it. The pain caused from the Klogs was in my arch as well as my small toe after only 10 mins. of wearing around my house. Instead of returning them, I chose to just give them to my best friend. So back to the drawing board for me....UPDATE:My best friend absolutely loves them after wearing them at work. The details: She normally wears a size 9 or 9.5. She wore my 10wide Klogs with tube socks (-her normal sock for work) and she loves them. She said they weren't to big and she had no foot pain. They were so comfortable that she said she wants another pair. So they were terrible for me and great for her.

Like 'em with reservations.
They're cut small, actually arrived with the handle "Lady's Clogs" written on the box, but work when the insole is removed, still a snug fit, but they feel right. You must wear socks with them, however, as the man made material is pretty harsh on bare skin. They are 100% waterproof, though, which is a big plus. I find the man made material a bit unrelenting, but once I dig my foot deep into the clog the support is impressive and I can walk distances in them. I do hope they will mold to my foot with time, though, as the knuckle above the big toe becomes irritated with long wear. The jury is still out on that aspect.

Heel height is not 2 inches
Height of toe box area was tighter than expected for a 13W size. I had to remove insole and insert my own 3/4 length òrthotic to make shoe usable for the long term. Heel height is less than an inch, not the 2 inches listed in item description. Perimeter of rear of shoe is more than 2 inches, but thickness of shoe under heel area is similar to a cheap tennis shoe. I would not have purchased if the heel height had been accurately described. I was speccifically shopping for clog like shoes with higher heel height to combat back of heel pain agravated by excessive walking and rubbing and pressure on heel area from regular shoes. I am not actually a women.
