Not My Favorite Boots
Ordered these boots in my typical 8.5 size and they fit, but they seem to be made for more of a medium or narrow width foot. My feet are in between medium and wide, and I find that the ball of my foot area and pinky toe rub against the sides of the boot. Fortunately, where I live doesn’t get really cold, so I won’t need to pair these with thick socks, because then they would be too tight. The thickest part of my calf has a 16.25” circumference and the smallest part of my ankle is 8.5”. The boot just barely zips over my calves. I can wear leggings under these and thinner material skinny jeans. The top opening feels like it might become larger over time and that would be great. If your calf is wider than mine, forget about these. Actually, if you’re my calf size, find something with a wider shaft opening. The ankle area has plenty of material and pools here on me. Not sure if I’m super in love with how tight they are on the top and loose around the ankle. Still wearable though.The faux suede material quality is decent, and the color is a rich chocolate brown. The interior has a padded liner that should keep your legs warm and cozy. The chunky textured rubber sole is dark black and stands out against the brown suede material. I can’t decide if I like this stark contrast or if I wish the sole was a brown color to match the suede more. I did notice some glue spots where the sole is attached to the boot. The insole doesn’t have a ton of cushioning, Overall, I feel like these boots are just ok. I like them more than my sister, who flat out said she didn’t like them. The price seems more than I would want to pay for mid-quality faux suede.

These boots are way cuter than I expected they would be! I love the shape, its chunky but still flattering. They run slightly small, I am between an 8-8.5 and I am very happy I went up to an 8.5, they will definitely be tight with thicker socks.The material is the reason I knocked it down a star. I think its trying to be a faux suede but it clearly is not. Its just ok,. but because of the dark color, its not that noticeable, it would be a hard no in a lighter color.Overall, I like these boots quite a bit! I have room int he calves for pants to be tucked in and I love a full zip on a boot! The shape is nice and they are quite comfortable! Would definitely consider getting in the black color too!

It’s the heel for me!
I love the chunky style of these boots! They are a really nice brown. I like that the bottom part is black and give it a pretty good contrast. These come up pretty high and actually fit my calf often times the boots are too big for my calf. The color is everything. These are pretty comfortable as well. The quality of these boots are pretty good if you live in an area where it’s really cold I suggest putting on high socks with these. These are true to size.
