excellent quality and SO comfy for narrow feet
So comfy! I got these because I needed workboots for my narrow feet and most boots had my feet swimming around. I found the ankles a little stiff to break in so skip the top holes and wrap the laces around before tying, figure-skate style. I've been wearing them for about two months, almost daily, and they are so comfy, true to size for a narrow foot and holding up against rain, hard work around animals and dirt. And they ARE waterproof! I love them.

Best Boots Ever!

Wide is SUPER WIDE
These shoes are epic! So comfortable and sturdy, but they do run big. Do not get the wide size if you have a wide foot. The whole shoe is insanely wide.

Need SERIOUS breaking in.. but LOVE
These are definitely not the boots for you if you think you’re gonna wear them on a hike as soon as they come out of the box.Like breaking in a new glove that will soon be a favorite and last you forever, these need some serious breaking in - but once they’re molded and softened you’ll wear them any time the occasion calls for it I’m sure.As a reference, I wore them around the grocery store for about an hour and couldn’t wait to get them off when I got in the car. Every step was rubbing at my heel. Maybe could’ve used some Band-Aids to cushion that but I know this is all part of the breaking in process. So just know that when you buy these.

Heel blisters from these shoes after less than an hour
I had a pair of black Kodiak boots for years that were so comfortable and I wore everywhere, so I wanted something similar with these. I expect a little stiffness from new boots, so I wore them around the house and then on a walk to break them in, and I discovered that there is a seam on the inner heel that lines up just so when I walk that it caused a massive blister on the back of each my feet; the constant rubbing no matter how I tied the shoes (and I tried so many different things) made me be in constant pain while I walked. (And I was wearing comfortable wool socks that I always wear to hike in in the mountains.) I've had other shoes with a seam in that location as well, and no amount of breaking in or wearing made it any better and I always ended up with blisters, and I don't want to go through that again with these. I otherwise like how snug they are, and they were comfortable when I wasn't putting pressure on my feet, although the traction wasn't great when I was walking on wet rocks.
