Comfort Meets Class
I bought these Kodiak Chelsea boots for my wife because she desperately needed a pair of practical, durable boots for spending time outside, specifically for gardening and taking care of our small flock of chickens. She used to wear old, clunky hiking boots, but she wanted something easier to slip on and off that still offered protection. These boots have been an absolute win! She loves them. She raves about how comfortable they are right out of the box. The comfort foam really makes a difference; she says she can wear them all morning doing chores without any foot fatigue. Best of all, they genuinely look great. They have that rugged, classic Chelsea style, and the leather quality is premium. If you need a tough, reliable work boot that is also genuinely stylish and comfortable, these are highly recommended!

So comfortable, not heavy, and the tops break in fast so you can wear short socks!
I love these boots! We are cattle ranchers, so my clothes and shoes get a lot of abuse. I was looking for a good slip on that fit better than Fat Baby’s. I have foot nerve pain, and these are the most comfortable boots I own. They have good support, with a more narrow style sole that is not clunky or heavy. They are waterproof, and the leather is standing up to the abuse so far after 2 months. Good traction, that cleans out easy.I’m keeping an eye on the price for another sale and I will order a second pair for a backup. I wear them every day working, and when they are clean enough- to town too.

Love these boots -- just not the creaky-squeaky
I've been looking for the Cinderella of Chelsea work boots for many years now, and I think I've found it with the Bralorne. Just received them and took them for a brief stroll. They seem comfortable enough, and there appears to be enough insole padding to not have to compensate with thick socks. As for style, I'm very happy with them. Years ago, I ordered (and returned) a pair of one of the more refined styles of so-called women's Blundstone's, and though they fit, were near impossible to get into and out of due to the narrow shaft, and looked like I was wearing large gunboats on my feet. These Kodiak boots aren't delicate, as they're meant to be a bit rugged, and considering that, they're fairly sleek for an outdoor/working boot. I I love that the heel and sole are substantial but not overly thick or clunky-looking, and the rounded toe isn't too blunt a shape, so they don't look like clown shoes. Can't yet speak to the comfort level after wearing for only a short time, but they seem to have sufficient insole padding. And they don't cause you to break into a sweat (I'm looking at you, Blundstone) just trying to get in and out of them, making for an easy on/off. But yikes, the noise! And I don't mean the kind of noise created by synthetic sole material squeaking against flooring. I mean some sort of odd creaky noise due to the mid-sole construction. But I'm hoping the noise will decrease with wear. In the meantime, I may be annoying others when wearing them in public places.SIZING: If this helps, I usually wear an 8 - 8.5, medium width. After reading reviews, I decided to go with size 8. They fit fine, but if I were wearing thick socks, they'd feel too short, and if I sized up to an 8.5, they'd be too big. So, in my brief experience, I'd suggest maybe sizing down by a half size. The toe box was perfect for me -- not tight, not too wide and sloppy, and the same with the heel area.COLOR: What a relief when I opened the box and saw that the boots were the same cocoa/slightly russet color of the item photo. The reviews all noted "Medium Brown" for the color purchased, but some of the review photos showed a tan color and others the medium brown. So I didn't know what to expect, but definitely didn't want a tan color. Happily, the color I received matches the item photo, and is a perfect neutral brown.COMFORT: Easy to get into, and the shaft doesn't rub against my lower shin. The footbed seems cushioned enough for average comfort, but I didn't wear them long enough to tell how they'd feel after a full day's wear. For what it's worth, for me the toe box and heel were perfect -- not too wide and not too tight or restricting. They offer good, solid traction -- it rained today so I took them for a quick slick-surface test and they provided a secure grip.I was curious as to where the boots are made because the item description shows Cambodia, and one reviewer commented that she appreciated that they were made in Canada. So I did some research and it turns out that for a while, Kodiak boots were made in various parts of Asia, but in 2022, Kodiak brought all production back to Canada, which I found reassuring. So, my initial impression of these boots is that the style is rugged but not clunky, easy to get on and off, the color is true to the main item photo, and they were comfortable enough in the short time I tried them out. They seem like they'll take only a brief break-in period, and then I hope to continue wearing them for years to come. But one extremely annoying aspect that has nothing to do with the boots themselves is the pricing. When I was intitially looking at the size 8.5. the price was $79. Then, when I read more reviews and decided I'd be better off with the size 8, the price changed to $129 while the price for the 8.5 was still showing as $79. Now, just a week later, all the sizes are $88.42. I understand that Amazon no longer offers price adjustments when items go on sale shortly after a purchase, but I'll be calling customer service to request a credit regardless, as there's got to be something wrong when an 8.5 size is $50 less than the same boot in a size 8. I love the boots, but now every time I wear them, I'm going to be a wee bit angry at being overcharged, and probably still squeaking when I walk.

great boot
I wasn't sure what to expect for $30, but these are fantastic. Very comfortable. Appear to be very durable. Size wise, I am between a 7 - 7.5. I ordered the 7 as many reviews said they run big. When I first tried them on, I thought they were too small, but in minutes, they molded to my foot. Highly recommend.
