Worth the price
These boots are fantastic. That’s the bottom line.I used these for the first time salmon fishing in upstate New York for a week and had no issues whatsoever. Great ankle support, the tightening system is great, those cables are strong. It’s similar to a ski boot or snowboarding boots but super lightweight.I used these heavy duty carbide soles because I did some serious miles and exploring this year. The felt and rubber ones that come with the boots are also excellent, I had no issues in the water at all. No slipping and sliding around this year!Actual bottom line: if you’re debating it and have the money, get them. You won’t regret it. Korkers also has great warranties and customer service. Worth every penny.

Favorite Wading Boot
Very supportive, rugged, but not too heavy. Ability to change out treads is fabulous. Best suited to demanding wading situations.

Amazing
Monster boots that handle hard core winter steelhead fishing in NY. Boa laces are fantastic and boots have survived being literally frozen to my feet (multiple times). The stock soles are garbage (felt are trash too), they should come from the factory studded.

Best Fly Fishing Boot Ever
Well, I’m old and fat. Wader/boot interface/tying laces—present more of a challenge than it should. These boots made that whole process as calm as a pond. It was easy. A few cranks and you’re tight. A push on the knob and you’re out of the boots. Originally, I ordered a 9. I wanted to add an insert for plantar fasciitis so I upsized to a 10. It worked better. During the time in the river, they were very comfortable. These boots were my best catch of the year! Love the Korkers!

Good. Wet.
Interchangeable soles to suit different environments and regulations! Yes! You'll need to size up on these to fit your neoprene-booted feet.A good rinsing after use, mind the sand in the locking/tightening bits, and your good to go. If you don't have a boot dryer prepare to wait three days for these to air dry.Served many different conditions in 1 season and so far no real complaints.

Comfortable, modular wading boots
These are my second pair of Korkers wading boots. Replacing a pair of Whitehorse models ive had for about 7 years. Honestly, they didn’t NEED replacing, I just wanted a newer pair. I have 2 trips in granite freestone rivers. I have a pair of the Vibram soles with tungsten studs and even on smooth wet or dry granite, tree limbs/trunks and slick snot moss covered rocks they provide grip when I’m sure they wouldn’t have. The boots are very comfortable and fit very well. I wear size 10.5-11 street shoes and purchased size 12’s and they fit well over wader booties and hiking socks, with a little spare room for heavy winter socks. The new ankle support in the dark horse is awesome and the boa lacing system is even better on these than it’s predecessor. Very happy with my purchase thus far.

Great wading boot option.
Best adding boots I have owned. I have used these many days on the water and walked many miles in them backcountry fishing. They re holding up very well.
