Outstanding boots

Best wading boots I've ever owned. Worth the price. Easy on/off, lacing system works well, comfortable/secure/supportive for hiking longer distances to streams, wide range of sole options. The felt+stud combination soles work well on a variety of stream beds.I normally wear a 11.5 (US) shoe. The size 12 boots fit well over the neoprene stockings of my waders.

Love ‘em!

I have been fly fishing for about ten years. My first two pair of wading boots were both made by Simms. Both were great boots, well made and supportive but HEAVY. I had wanted a pair of Korkers when I went to my local and favorite fly fishing shop in 2014 but found a pair of top-of-the-line Simms wading boots clearanced for half price.......which I bought. Fast forward to this summer. Went fishing in June 2018 and the weight of the Simms wore me out. Sold them online for about what I paid for them and then ordered the Korkers. Used them for the first time yesterday, 9/14. Wow! Light weight, easy to tighten up, supportive, with the comfort of a tennis shoe. I won’t be going back to a heavier boot. A+ for Korkers!

Flyfishing boots

Was concerned about purchasing online without trying these on for fit. The return policy worked perfect. I wore the boots around the house using felt only. Decided to keep and changed out the sole to felt with studs. These are the best boots I’ve owned. Excellent fit and support, comfortable and best of all, easy on and off.

Great wading boot

This is the 4th set of Korkers I have owned and the second set of the devils canyon model. I really can’t say enough good things about them! Having the ability to change soles is a great option, cleats walking in or in my aluminum drift boat and rubber soles in my friend’s fiberglass drift boat. Felt of course is quickly becoming less and less acceptable as more areas ban it over concerns about invasive species.I have worn out three pairs but the truth is they hold up very well. I’ve been a little busy for the last 18 months but for years I would be in my waders 60 to 80 days a year, even if only for a few hours. Much of that time I was fishing in some pretty rough places that tear boots up. Make no mistake about it these boots hold up.The Devil’s Canyon boots are definitely on the expensive side of things for a pair of boots, double what I pay for my work boots but they are worth every penny. They fit like a glove, have plenty of support in the ankles and grip wet slippery rocks as well as any boot could. Many anglers spend $400+ on waders thousands on gear, a whole lot more on boats why not get a great quality boot. Your feet, legs and back will thank you for it.

Solid boots for Saltwater fishing on Rocks

Three years and these things are still going strong. At this point, I only use them saltwater fishing on rocks.Sometimes with stocking foot waders, but mostly with a wetsuit. I wear them over neoprene socks.I have replaced the spikes many times, but that's par for the course where I use them. Traction with the big spikes is fantastic. The same applies to protection and ankle support. I occasionally swim with them, but they are heavy.Downsides.The boots take a long time to dry. So if they are salted up, I rinse them out and then... long time to dry. They are usually back in the saltwater before I can dry them out.The boots are awful on the beach. Sand gets everywhere, even when I've wrapped them up for Beach/Rocks days. Sand really screws up the BOA system. I no longer wear them on sand or even near sand.

Best wader boots I've ever owned!

These are lightweight and comfortable. The easiest to take on and off with the twist/release setup. The interchangeable soles are a great feature with a large amount of other options to try (I also purchased a felt pair that fit and have worked well). I bought my father the Dark Horse version for Father's day and he loves those as well. Make sure you grab the pin key that is attached to the wire system and tags. My father threw his away on accident.

What took me so long to discover those boots?

So comfortable the first time I had them on, I wore so many wading boots in my life but nothing like this one. So easy to put them on and even easier to take them off. It gives you confidence while wading so you would concentrate more on catching fish and less on maintaining your footing. The best part is that they are safe to wear at the hotel or store after you remove the studded sole, it's worth every penny. Buy the next size up so you would have enough space to wear heavier wool socks or neoprene ones, I wear the neoprene socks.
