This is a great slipper. It is well designed, well made, attractive, comfortable, flexible, and sturdy. Now, a number of reviews indicated that you should order a size larger than you wear. I did that and they were too large. The exchange for my regular size was easy and fit perfectly.
This is the fourth pair of these I have bought over the years and, frankly, I would not settle for any other slipper. Being retired, I spend a good deal of time indoors and these slippers are perfect for walking on tile and hardwood floors. If you plan to wear them as much as I do during the day, I suggest a memory foam insert to make them even more comfortanle. You may think they're a bit expensive at first glance, but they are worth every penny and being prime shipped makes it an even better buy.
In house every day wear. But slipper needs thicker heel, because heel wears out faster then the rest of the slipper.
Delighted to find the Chicopee Slippers on Amazon and the price was much lower than I have paid in the dept. stores. I will order again and again. However, I ordered 2 pair size 10.5. My husband has worn these for decades and wanted a backup pair. One pair fit perfectly, second pair packaging made it appear to have been opened and returned. That pair did not fit, it was also too small, perhaps previous customer had same problem we did. No problem with return and credit. Will surely buy these again, tnx for making available
The leather feels like stiff cardboard and you can feel every seam inside. It feels like the lining will come loose fairly soon, but it’s too early to tell. Reviews indicated they ran small, but I still ordered my usual size… only to find they’re actually a bit loose. I know good slippers cost upward of $150 now, but I just cannot justify spending that. Oh, well. Chalk another one up to cheap, imports. After wearing them for a couple of days now, I think I want to return them. They feel worse every day.
I have worn leather opera slippers for years and loved them. These are no exception as they fit well and are very comfortable. I wear them outside often without a problem and that is a big plus to me.
My dad has been wearing these slippers since I was a kid but he really needed a new pair. I was excited to find them on Amazon and while they are still comfortable and look nice, the quality was not there. After having them for a month, there is already significant wear on the bottoms. These are slippers! He only wears them in the house so I am pretty disappointed in them.With all that said, he still loves them be because they are really comfortable and look great.
