Awesome! This boot is a force to reckon with. Great in low angle terrain and excels in steep ups snd side hills, carries weight well, edges great on rocky ridges… ill be getting another in future. Has awesome protection and the heels are unique imop. They offer movement that one can appreciate.
Great for climbing arborist
Bought it for glacier and rock mountaineering. In order to "break it", I took them to a 4 days hiking in Patagonia.Nothing to break, from the first mile they fit and feel perfect. nevertheless they are designed for mountaineering, they are a perfect all mountain, all around boots.From now on, they going to be my approach and ascend boots.Very comfortable, very stable, strong sole, well protected from rock scratches, perfect All In One.
As a name brand high-quality hiking boot, this has failed miserably. Advertised as waterproof, though the water intrusion was apparent during the first hour of hiking. Hopefully this is a product defect as every other aspect of the boots met my expectation. Additionally, I reached out to the manufacturer with a very detailed email concerned about the water intrusion and they have not responded to my email.EDIT** heard back from manufacturer, they stated “please contact Goretex for warranty.”WOW thanks for taking accountability for your product by passing the buck.
