They run slightly tight but that’s a good thing
I generally wear size 12 shoes and boots, naturally I ordered these in 12. I found these to be a little on the tighter side, but I feel that is good for a shoe that is designed for being on rocks and trails. The materiel is super lightweight, breathable but tough. It has a decent arch support (not quite as good as my Merrill’s.) the shoe offers good stability and support. The rubber on the bottom is a softer material towards the center perfect for walking on rocks, the outer lugs are a harder durometer rubber to give good traction on muddy terrain. These are priced in line with most other high quality hiking and trail shoes.

GOAT
This is my favorite trail runner and hiker of all time. Breathable, great traction, toe bumper for rocks. Lightweight. I'm on my second pair of this model and fourth or fifth La Sportiva.

Great shoes, just a bit too narrow for me.
I normally wear size 12. In my past life, I would wear cycling shoes in 46.5 that fit great. So thank goodness for free returns. I tried the 12.5 and the 12.5+ in this shoe. The 12.5 was too snug on my left foot. Today I tried the 12.5+ and my toes just feel too confined; I can see having issues. I have narrow and low-volume feet, and this shoe is definitely perfect for those requirements. Somehow during this pandemic, which has seen me barefoot working from home, my toes now require a bit more space. The toe box is confining to me, and I think keeping them would not make my feet happy. I was really looking for a fast trail hiking type shoe. These are very well built, fit nicely, are comfortable and appear to have ample traction. I was really looking forward to some hiking in them. I would recommend them, but be very mindful of the sizing. I could have made the 12.5+ work, depending on sock thickness and maybe a little break in time. I was considering the 13, but I have a feeling that might not help the side to side space constraint in the toe box.

Shoe look amazing but runs small and narrow
These are impressive shoes. The build and material quality look amazing. The rubber on the bottom sole and grip is really good. They're light and look even better in person. The only thing is that they are small. I ordered a half size up and they are still small. I would recommend at least 1 full size up and wide just to fit as expected but definitely get these!

Great shoe for USPSA/action shooting competition
NOTE: I am not this shoe's target audience. I will not, nor have I ever, nor will I ever run up a mountain. What I do is shoot action pistol competitions which require a lot of traction on a variety of surfaces at outdoor gun ranges, from larger rocks to gravel to sand, stopping and starting rapidly from a variety of positions while maintaining control of a handgun or rifle. These shoes are excellent for that purpose; their tight fit and massive grip improve my agility dramatically on grass, dirt, rocks, any type of earth that I might encounter in competition.Make sure to order a size up as they are very narrow, but the tight fit helps to improve that feeling of responsiveness and agility even further, so don't let the tightness turn you off.

Runs small and narrow
I normally wear 9 in most shoes (42.5). These seem like they are made well but they run very narrow in the mid-sole and somewhat narrow in the toe box. Maybe this is by design. At this price/design ($160-180) it would be nice if they made a 'wide' fit. Also the fit between 9 and 9.5 was basically indiscernible. I would have thought the width would have been a little greater between the sizes. Actually the widths between 8.5-9, 9, and 9.5. were all very close.

Great shoes, great product, but are they making the shoes smaller of just this hiking running one?
I am a repeat customer so I have had experience with this brand. I would suggest trying them on first as I am confused a little about the sizing changes on the different varieties they offer. If you want a comfortable shoe, very lightweight not like the old clunky hiking BOOTS, durable, made from synthetic materials mostly, good treads, good arch support, good cushioning, etc.I had to go up 1.5 sizes and I will explain why, but partially my feet got bigger from not wearing shoes for a long time as we have no shoes stores in my county only Walmart and we used to have a Payless, which I refuse to buy as they are poorly made and for a big guy don't provide support for what a podiatrist would recommend. There are sizes for 12, 12.5, 12.5-13, 13, and 13.5.I really don't know the difference between a 12.5 and a 12.5-13, I usually go by the European sizes but I posted a question about whether they had changed sizes and it never got answered.
