These are incredible. I recently had a string of bad luck with Salomons. I tried the S/Lab Ultra Glide 1.5 and they destroyed my arches even with insoles. Then I tried S/Lab Genesis and they destroyed my achilles.The Prodigio Pros feel amazing with no break in. For sizing, look at the eu sizing on your current shoes and use that. I wear a 10 in Salomon which was a 44 and that worked great for these.
Great shoes for fast shorter ultras up to 100km. Responsive and good cushioning. Lightweight. Good to go half size up.
Almost the perfect Adventure Race shoe. Comfortable. Springy. Grippy. Good fit with sock collar and tongue eliminating debris. Also extra room in the toe box compared to other La Sportivas I have owned. Man, I wanted to love these. But 3 miles into my first run my feet were hot and sweating. Breathability seemed non existent as my feet just got hotter and wetter. They also failed the drainage test. Almost as if they were designed to hold excess water in the shoe as long as possible. Maybe that would change through use, but out of the box I think these would be a foot fail in any kind of wet weather or water traverse. Still searching for the perfect shoe…
17 pairs later till I tried this pair and knew immediately that this is the one! Nice arch support and great cushion with moderate stability and reasonably wide forefoot space. Just get 0.5 size larger since it runs small.
Light and springy. Allows for a natural stride. Plenty of traction and cushion. Nice heel cup support. You do need a full size bigger than what you would normally order3 50ks in technical terrain and holding up well.
