If you’re a size 12 1/2 I recommend getting a 11 1/2 since these shoes are really big, although I didn’t think it was going to be THAT big I got myself a size 12 and it ended up being too big for my foot. Over all really good and flexible.
Purchased to replace an old pair. Fits well based on my prior size I purchased. Good quality product. I love my shoes
Good shoes for me as a first time buyer. I would recommend following the sizing recommendations, and perhaps even try a half size smaller in case the shoe gets loose with use
Sole started to detach from the body along whole shoe.Used them normal. Less than 40 hrs total.Disappointment. Will not buy again La Sportiva. Will not recommend. Unless manufacturer help to resolve the issue.
In the Tarantulace I wear a size 43eu (10us) in these I wear a 42.5 (9.5us) and could probably have gone down to a 42 (9us). They are a basic entry level shoe but that's just fine because they are way more comfortable than the more advanced and aggressive shoes. The Velcro shoes are wildly more convenient both indoor & outdoors however I like how a lace up feels better overall. Solution, have one of each. I typically use the lace ups I have when I'm reaching my skill limit & the Velcro for easier climbs or outdoor where we move from spot to spot and definitely don't want to wear the climbing shoes on the trail.
Bought these for my husband and he loves them! He says they have great grip and traction while he rock climbs. They are a bit snug and tight, but I think that’s the point of rock climbing shoes. Very functional!
