Very comfortable
I have the Size 10/43 low cut shoe version of these boots which I find ever so lightly long and loose for me but certainly a better fit than size 9.5. Another reviewer mentioned the boot is slightly smaller than the shoe version. The Amazon size chart says size 9.5 is the 43 in size which is different from the official La Sportival pictured size chart further down the page, where the pictured chart is the same as the size printed on my shoe that's Size 10 is 43 instead.I took a chance and order Size 10 for these boots and sure enough it came as size 10/43, the same as my shoes, not 10/43.5 as said in Amazon linked size chart. Upon wearing the boots with my usual pair of hiking socks, I do find these boots ever so slightly fitted more snuggly than the shoes, which is even better for me! I am not sure if these boots are actually smaller or just being newer than the shoes I have. Time will tell.Amazon, please correct your linked size chart to correspond with the correct official La Sportiva pictured size chart as shown on this page.These boots are very comfortable. The mid height collar is so smoothed I tried them on without socks and they do not scratch my leg at all. I always break-in my hiking shoes before a hike and these boots are so comfortable for me I feel like I could wear them straight to a hike.The shoelaces are plenty long enough for a proper lacing, and they would stay tight during a hike.The higher toe box feature of both these boots and the shoes versions makes a huge positively different in comfort level compared to my other shoes. The outsole is very grippy even in wet condition sans moss filled wet smooth larger rocks. I would certainly buy these again.

My new favorite Boot
Second pair of these boots. Still wearing the first pair for shorter less steep tails as they do run a bit small in the toe box. I wear a size 12 normally but the 12’s hurt my toes on steep descent's with the stock insole. The new pair I’m reviewing here are size 12 1/2 with my custom insole and are absolutely perfect. Right out of the box I did a 15 mile hike with 5,000 feet of gain and had no issues whatsoever. I have had some issues with other La Sportiva boots wearing quickly in the sole, and sole separation, but not with this model, my first pair has close to 400 miles on them with very little tread wear. I will probably buy another pair soon since I tend to go through boots every 18 months or so and I hate when I find ones I like only to find they have been discontinued. I highly recommend.

NO durability!
Purchased six months ago, destroyed in 6 months. Second pair that i've owned. They are comfortable, I wear them every day but they are NOT durable whatsoever!

First la sportiva boots, I'm sold
I saw these in a local hiking shop but didn't want to pay the price they had them for. I ordered my typical size and I can say these are my favorite boots I have ever had. The traction is amazing. They breathe and they are lightweight but very well constructed. I have put 40+ miles on them and still love them.
