Awesome hiking boots
Amazing. I prefer the old school leather hiking boot look...but, this boot has broken me of that bias. Save the leather boots for casual wear. These boots weigh a little more than a pair of sneakers. The footbed is ridiculously rigid and the ankle support is awesome.I try to do 1,000 feet of elevation or more every weekend. Just the weight reduction vs. other boots pays off. However, the weight reduction doesn't mean less performance. The toe box is narrow. I can feel it on the outside (near the pinky) when descending. I try to keep the laces loose near the toes and tight up top but, after a couple hours the toes get snugger. I will try removing the laces from the lower couple of loops and snug them up on the top. I've only done five hikes in them so, I am still hoping these parts will conform to my feet when I apply enough sweat and pressure.I'm a 10.5 US in almost any brand. I ordered these in 11. The length is perfect but the toe box is narrow and my foot is normal width.

Sized up significantly - perfect.
Based on all of the other helpful reviews, I opted to size up, in both regular shoe size AND width. Worked out really well.I'm typically an 11.5 for most shoes and brands. I do not have a wide foot by any means. With these though, I went with a 12.5, wide. It fits perfectly. Incredibly comfortable and seemingly high quality.I haven't taken it out on any strenuous hikes or anything yet, so my ability to comment on function is limited. However, the few times I have taken them out, I've had 0 to complain about. What I can say is, despite the fact they're goretex, I find them incredibly breathable... Which is always a concern for me. They're also quite light for a full boot.

Finally a Great off-trail hiking boot
My hiking boots off about 20 years finally had to be retired. I tried a few brands until these and I am very pleased. I recommend buying a wide size as the toe box is a bit tight. If you can - go to an actual store try them on and them order on Amazon for the price. As I do off-trail hiking, the exterior toe protection is key and seems to be holding up unlike prior versions. The sole grip although seems hard, is holding up walking on slope rocks. Another plus is the light weight as I do a lot of vertical, trail above your head type hiking and the last thing I want is to be weighted down with heavy boot. So far so good.

Sizes are smaller than the shoes / boots normally sold in the US converting inches to centimeters.
Sizes are smaller than the shoes / boots normally sold in the US converting inches to centimeters. My foot was an inch and a half to an inch and three quarters wider than the boots so I couldn't try them on. I will say they were very light boots and seemed better than average quality. The tread felt like it should have good grip on most surfaces. Looking over the boots they had no loose threads or poorly glued material.

Very pleased
Super tacky sole, traction has been great. No issues thus far on waterproof performance as they’ve only been lightly broken in there. Typically wear a 10, sized up a full size with these and they fit like a gem. First pair of LS so after reading tons of reviews, a full size up is definitely the way to go and while my foot is not necessarily wide, I’ve had issues with narrow boots before, but these did not pinch middle of my feet whatsoever. Really no break in period whatsoever, super comfortable. Racked up 30+ miles on a few hikes with them so far and very pleased overall. Quality seems to justify the price which I’m more than happy to pay for, but long term durability will need to be revisited once I’ve logged some solid mileage.

I would purchase again.
Great boot fits well. Supports my ankle. Could really feel the terrain technically.

Amazing lightweight boot. Be careful with sizing.
Bought these as an early season hunting boot for the CO mountains. 55 miles in 5 days on Rocky Mountain terrain. Boots held up very well and I did not have any hot spots or soreness. Almost no break in period. Stepped through marshes and my feet stayed dry as well so the waterproofing liner held up well (gore-tex is the best). Feet were warm at dawn break and sundown with lightweight wool socks so I’d say these boots are good for temperatures as low as 25 if you’re moving and 35 if you’re sitting. 12.5E was perfect and I am not normally a wide shoe so beware if you have wide feet. I am a 12 in nikes. 12.5 in under armour. 11D in my double H western boots.
