My first time try La sportiva I love it. A little narrow but very comfortable, just get 1 or 1 1/2 size up. End up I bought another pair just the same but only not GTX and different color. I do recommend it.
Very nice shoes, waterproof, beautiful touches of color. Arch & heel problems for me. Brand tag missing from tiny plastic attachment on shoe; attachment cut.
Finally wore these so now I can write a review. Went hiking in Moab. Comfortable immediately out of the box, I have wide feet and these were extremely comfortable with great arch support which I needed. I do recommend 1/2 size larger and this is with any hiking shoe to allow for foot swelling from hiking. So we did intense hiking, walking up/down 45 to 60 degree inclines of slippery rocks, rock scrambling, walking on uneven terrain with combinations of loose rock and fine sand. The grip is like snow tires on steroids… ABSOLUTELY AMAZING GRIP!! Walked through multiple streams on one hike and my socks stayed dry, obviously if the water goes above the ankle you will get wet. Transitioned from wet stream to scrambling up rocks with ZERO slippage. The only time I had slight slippage was stepping off of a rock onto very fine pebbles that were on top of another rock. Definitely recommend this, only thing I would do differently is to also buy an ankle version to give more ankle stability wife more vigorous hikes but the way the soles were made this gave me enough ankle stability.

Comfortable and waterproof. Probably too warm for summer months but perfect for the rest of the year.
Hard upper material that makes a popping sound when walking. I expected better quality for the price. Had to return. Very disappointing.
