Just What I expected.

5/5 stars! These shoes are as amazing as the hype suggests. They fit true to size and were surprisingly comfortable to break in, even with their aggressive downturn. Finding them was a challenge due to their popularity, but Amazon's fast delivery saved the day!Performance: I mainly use these for bouldering, and they're phenomenal. The edging is ridiculously precise, even on tiny footholds. Heel hooking is a dream thanks to the sticky rubber and snug heel cup. Every toe hook feels secure, and the sensitivity is incredible - it's like my feet are extensions of the rock. These shoes fit true to size for me, and the break-in period was surprisingly smooth. Sure, they're aggressive, but the microfiber upper molds nicely to your foot, offering decent comfort even for longer sessions. The quality is top-notch. The rubber feels soft but grippy and the construction feels incredibly solid. I anticipate these lasting a long time with proper care.Finding these shoes in stock can be hard on other sites. Their popularity makes them elusive, so if you see them available, grab them quickly! But speaking of availability, Amazon's fast delivery came in clutch when I finally found a pair.

Runs large-order down a full size

Unfortunately these not only ran large, compared to Butora Acro Comp, but the heel is wider and slipped for us. My daughter has a narrow foot, so these just didn't work. Perhaps would be good for a standard sized or wide foot.

Needs Better Quality Control

One shoe came with an indented toe box. Makes toe-hooking feel awkward.

Favorite climbing shoe!

As someone who has tried TONS of different climbing shoes, I’m a huge vouch for the Solution Comps. I primarily climb indoor top rope, but also do a fair share of pretty much every other style of climbing as well (indoor and out), and these are my go to always. They have enough of a point for sharp overhangs and small foot holds, while still being soft enough to smear and wear pretty comfortably. The heal on these is also great, and fits a lot better than the molded heal cup of the OG Solutions (imo). The only style of climbing I think this shoe is less than ideal for is crack and super slabby outdoor climbs. The Velcro straps also have a tendency to break over time from the friction on the metal eyelits, but realistically, anyone climbing on a super regular basis is likely to wear through the toe before the straps give. With all that being said, climbing shoes are incredibly subjective based on your climbing style, shoe preferences, and the shape of your foot. I have a wide forefront and narrow heel, and these fit great! I love the thick rubber under the toe, the big toe pad on the top of the shoe, and the downturned shape. If this sounds like a fit for you, I couldn't recommend them enough!

Much improved heel design

These fit MUCH better than the original La Sportiva Solutions for women (the black/pink ones). The heel is much more snug and the shoe doesn't come off when doing heel hooks! The colors are very nice and the rubber is sticker than any other brand I've tried. The sizing seems to match the original black/pink Solutions, so if you order in whatever size you previously had, these should fit the same way.
