The La Sportiva Women's Spire GTX Waterproof Hiking Shoes are designed for those who enjoy hiking or trekking in wet environments without compromising on comfort and breathability. These shoes utilize Gore-Tex Surround waterproofing technology, ensuring your feet remain dry during rainy adventures. However, sizing can be tricky as these shoes tend to run big; it’s advisable to order half a size smaller than your usual fit.

I was skeptical, buying such important footwear without trying. I couldn’t be happier! They seem to be incredibly durable. I have hiked in Sedona and upstate New York in them and felt safe and secure in my foot placement. I felt at first that the sole was too inflexible, but now find that it provides stability and the tread works great on sand, small rock, rock faces, and leaves. Plenty of room in the toe box.
Very good grip. It’s nicely made and looks great however, it’s narrow so if you have wide feet it’s not comfortable. The outer sole is super stiff and no cushion. It rubs my outside ankle bone and hurts a lot. Really wish I would like these shoes. Such a shame.
I have not been on a hiking trail or in the rain with them yet, however, I have been walking in them in preparation of a hiking trip. So far so good. They are comfortable, my feet have not hurt from them and they seem to have good support. When I first put them on I wasn't sure about them. I wore them around the house for a couple of days in case I wanted to return them. The sides of the shoes were on my ankle bone and I was afraid it was going to hurt. Not the case. Haven't bothered my ankles once. I am excited about getting out and about in them.
I haven't tried these out on the trails yet but they have great support in them, are firm without hurting any parts of my foot, and look good enough to be worn as a regular tennis shoe off trail. They were a little stiff from the get-go but are starting to loosen up and I know they will be top notch for hiking. Good solid shoe and incredibly lightweight which is a plus – – even in a size 11!
I bought these hiking shoes for $190 in Jan and barely 3 months lately, the insoles have holes in them. I hike 30 miles/week - not excessive, and the insoles are horrible. I contacted customer service and the warranty dept. They said too bad. It's just wear and tear. Go buy yourself another pair of insoles because we don't provide them. Then they offered me a coupon to buy another Sportiva product. Of course, that will never happen. If you want good quality hiking shoes that will last more than a few months- DO NOT buy these. Try Vasque!
Like it so far. Wore it hiking for 5 days in Maine. Fits right
